Staying at hotel schweiger we thought this place had great reviews so must be good. I mean this with the up most of respect but the food was extremely bland. We paid 1200 all in for 1 starter 2 mains and 3 drinks, this was with a 10 percent discount for staying at the hotel. We had beef cheek , steak tartar and some lemonades with gin in. Given that we have eaten elsewhere in Prague for a LOT cheaper for it to be a LOT tastier! Really wanted it to be nice and feel harsh for the bad review but I must be honest. I'd have happily paid 2-3000 for an excellent meal but feel it's all relative.

Sadly despite the nice location, the food is beyond saving, not fresh, stuffy, without any regard to taste. Seems like a Pizza Hut cook was on service.

This place turns out to be a pleasant surprise for us.. The restaurant is at the back of Schwaiger hotel and it looks very unassuming from the outside but is indeed a hidden gem.It was one of the best meals we ever had in Prague. The beef soup was light and tasty. The pepper tenderloin steak was very good, the meat was juicy inside and tender. The sauerkraut was yummy and the fries was very well cooked.Lovely back garden and friendly staff . Very quick and timely service.

Pricey food not in the expected standard. Maybe the chef is on holidays, not sure. Menu to accommodate all - pasta, burger, seafood, steak. Not clear vision / style. Octopus’s starter was similar to “sardines in tomato sauce” can. Steak was very chewy and fatty with super salty demi glace, pasta was bit overcooked, Chroust beer wasn’t available as advertised, dessert crema catalana was very sweet, even too sweet. Servis was Ok… Maybe the expectations were too high due to the score but in my view there are better value places to visit in Prague and Prague 6 for sure.

Nice restaurant, next to Stromovka park. Beautiful summer garden with a kids playground. The staff was friendly, the dishes were tasty and the prices are reasonable. I totally recommend it!

Definitely one of the best restaurants in Prague, really impressed by the taste of the food and the portions. Really good restaurant and hotel!

Really nice restaurant at nice location, great outdoor seating. But the food was mediocre at best. Steaks well done no matter how you wanted it. Returned mine which was supposed to be medium rare, got medium well replacement. Messed a group orderes, brought meats alone and sides 10 minutes later. Menu on the website doesn't fit the menu on the spot, items missing... It looks nice, but won't be coming back.
