LH Parkhotel Hluboká nad Vltavou

Very nice hotel, around 20 min walk from the castle. Renovated rooms, good service, small supermarket across the road and walking distance to the bus stop and the centre

Convenient location - there are two bus stops right by the hotel and it is near both the ZOO (probably the most beautiful ZOO in the Czech Republic!) and the Château (definitely the most beautiful in the Czech Republic). Dinner at the Lovecká chata restaurant is amazing. Just has to take better care of breakfast buffet - on my second day they ran out of all the juice so there were only hot drinks (tea and coffee) available. The staff in both restaurants is lovely!

It is not equipped with air-conditioner while The scene around it is fantastic

The room was still cold even turned on the heating, the reception’s attitude was so sucks and unwilling to provide extra quilt or blanket when I called for. Bad experience and unprofessional staffs here, not recommend anyone to live here :(

Hluboka nad Vltavu is a thermal resort, well known both in Czech Republic & abroad. Village is small, mainly done by hotels & restaurants. Most hotels are large structures made to accommodate Soviet time groups & contemporary travellers. Parkhotel is a good 4 stars hotel. Reception is obviously multilingual & friendly. Good breakfast buffet. Good parking lot. Try to avoid breakfast time when groups swarm the very large restaurant room like grasshoppers.

Nice clean rooms for not much money. The castle is nearby the hotel. There are also shops and restaurants around. The breakfast is good.

Rather average hotel, but overall good. When we arrived we were surprised as from the outside it definitely doesn’t look like a 4-star hotel.The rooms are clean and renovated (we had the Junior suite - 2nd floor), with nice black out curtains, but there are a lot of small things that didn’t seem quite right - e.g., the shower drain was clogged, the toilet seat was not fixed properly and it was moving every time we used it, the view from the room was to the rooftop and the pipes of the breakfast hall, etc.The breakfast was good, but they don’t restock the missing items (1 hour before the end of the service). Sauna is small and very bright, but seems clean. The staff was nice.It didn’t fit to our image and expectations for a 4-stars hotels, but it’s cheaper than the average 4-star hotel.
