Special place in Prague where you can stop and enjoy a good cup of coffee and something sweet! They have some nice choises for sweets and they are home made!The coffee place is in an old house, the design is cozy, the staf is friendly. They also have some table outside. Love the location and the place.

Hands down one of the best coffees I ever had in Prague. As a bonus, the place itself feels very cozy and warm, situated in a small old house. Despite being very close to the popular tourist spots, this cafe and the street in which it is located are hidden away and somehow manage to stay very local and quiet. They also have delicious desserts.

Probably the coziest cafe in Prague! Very good coffees, very tasty soups, nicely decorated place, very nice balcony. It's a unique place, especially because there's almost nothing for the public in Nový Svět left. It's a great institution. Love it!

This is one the cafes I have in my list and I wanted to go for a long time.I’m glad I wasn’t disappointed.The coffee was very well prepared and I liked that they served a warm cup with it. (It’s not that often)I tried the pumpkin soup which was really tasty.It’s a bit tricky to adapt to the service since the menu is in the entrance wall and you have to get up and see what they offer and then order there or at your table.They could just have a small menu and so there is less confusion.Next time that I will come(and this is something I plan to)it will be ok since I know the place and how they work.But better for the cafe to adapt to the client and not the other way around.Despite everything I totally recommend it and I will be visiting in the future.Update:I visited this cafe today and the service was horrible.The man behind the counter when I asked for a drip said you can get get a batch brew which was not the best.His excuse was that on Sundays they are busy and they don’t offer drip.When me and my friends we got batch brew one of the guys asked for sugar for his coffee.The server basically laughed at his face for that and then brought it and dropped in if front of me with a bad attitude.So maybe next time you can be nicer to people that took 30 minutes trip to come to you cafe so you are rude to them and don’t serve them what you have on your menu.Rating reduced to 3 stars because I think for one bad sever the cafe shouldn’t suffer.

I browsed few websites rating Cafe Novy svet in Prague. I discovered that I am not the only one complaining about rude and disrespectful waiters. Enjoy your visit there. By the way, the coffee selection is very limited and so are the deserts. How can this place be even considered Cafe?Interesting fact: All the good reviews have none or only one agreement (thumb up). All the bad reviews have multiple agreements (four and up)...

A hidden and cute Café. Really enjoyed it, because there are no cars passing by. Just little people walking by. I sat outside and enjoyed a delicious Chai Latte.If you want to escape the crowds...this is the place to be. They offer cakes as well.

Very nice, charming cafe located in a quiet street near the castle.Friendly service, very good coffee - I bought a flat white. Hot wine tasted and smelled delicious too.
Water in a beautiful carafe served for free. Nice decor, small flowers, books and several board games for older and younger guests.The restaurant also has a small garden from the other side, I suspect it is as charming as the whole cafe.
Due to the weather, I chose a table inside. We didn't try the food, but I saw it looked very fresh. There was a pleasant coffee aroma in the cafe.I will be happy to come back here for a coffee again.
