Think it's the best public ice skating rink in Prague. Pros: free entrance, refreshments, meal, big parking, changing room, skates rent, skater support bars, WC, view of St. Vitus Cathedral, separate rink for kids, loud announcements of changing direction,etc. Cons: rink could be bigger...

Very nice place with beautiful view. They have separate place for skating for kids and adults. And there is place to get warm. Skating is free of charge and you pay just for renting skates. Definitely recommend:)

Imagine an open-air ice skating rink with a beautiful ancient castle in the background, cheap parking next to it (30 CZK/hour), a small food and drinks stall, equipment rental facilities and small training rink available, not very many people in the night hours and most importantly, completely free entrance.Well, that's precisely a description of Letná park ice skating rink. Huge thanks to the local council and to everybody who supports it - it's amazing!

Perfect idea for winter. The gear can be borrowed (100 czk/h + 500 CZK advance, have CASH ready!), there's never too many people, and small kids can try the first steps on a special smaller rink

Does it's job, but boring. Look how it's made in Moscow or Vienna. This is a joke, not even big enough, while situated in the huge flat park. I'm paying not for the bare ice, but for the atmosphere and experience.

Again a typical bad Czech organisation: ice skate place half empty because of Covid but with 50meters queue waiting to enter because whoever already inside doesn't want to leave. Of course no communication about it on any website. We travelled 30kms just to stand in queue for 2 hours before leaving. Why is it not possible to have 1 hr slots between cleaning the ice and whoever was on ice before should leave and queue can be let in?

Large rink, kids have their separate one. Zamboni cleans the ice frequently and well. They are strict with checking the vaccination certificates. It's free ! Somewhat too many people at busy times, at other times it's ok. They don't seem to rotate the skating direction every now and then, which they should.
