River Boats Prague

We had a corporate boat tour just for our group of 40, for 2 hours. I'm a bit amazed of the first part, when the boat departed down the river and away from the old town. We went through a lock and down the river to a very industrial area where the boat turned around and went back to the lock and towards the old town. Then the fun started but why the first part remains a mystery. Maybe the lock on the river is some sort of an attraction? Nonetheless the trip was pleasant with a few decent views around the old town area. Friendly crew. Not as exciting as river tour in Paris but a decent thing to do if you want to rest from walking the lovely Prague streets.

You should definitely take a walk down by the pier to decide what kind of boat you want to go on. They are very different. But the ride itself is very similar. You do not go very far in an hour. You do get 30 minutes of exquisite picture taking opportunity. Find a good spot with better acoustics or you won’t hear much of the commentary. I definitely don’t think I would do a dinner cruise. You can get small meals and drinks on any of them (I’m pretty sure that’s the reason they exist at all). If you can get an all inclusive day tour that includes the boat ride I think is the best of both worlds. It’s exactly the same ride as a standalone boat ride, but included in the price of tour.

Interesting but cold but that can't be helped. People just go crazy with pictures which is fine but too many using flash and it's an inconvenience. We were supposed to be offered coffee and cake and we weren't. You can't really hear the guide on the outer deck.

This was not the boat on the picture we booked. This one looked pretty old, so we where fairly disappointed when we arrived. The tables inside where thightly packed, food was ok, but they started to run out of some items pretty quickly. Service was not the best, some problems understanding english, but drinks where surprisingly cheap. Live music was a guy with an accordion sitting on a chair in the middle of the boat.

Did a 55 minute river cruise. As the river in Prague has weirs at the Charles bridge the boats can only go so far, so this is a “short cruise” however the boat travelled very slowly and had an audio descriptive playing in all languages as we went past various buildings. Drinks served onboard whilst travelling

Nothing so special. I found it quite boring. Some good spot...good if you want to relax your feet ...and may be sleep a bit. You can spent the same hour walking close to the river...

Our trip was included in the price of the 48-hour hop-on hop-off bus trip.The hour-long cruise was very enjoyable, and we able to purchase drinks and snacks.The views from the river were most enjoyable, and the commentary was very educational.

Great boat ride along the Vltava river for a good price (290 kč = €11 for 1 hour.) The staff were friendly and they served hot/cold drinks on board. The trip went from the dock just north of the old town, and went down the river under all the bridges, before turning back around and repeating. After a long day of walking, this was a great way to relax

A waste of money with the 1-hour tour. You'd rather book it with another company. The boat deliberately goes slower to pass the time and you can cover whatever you cover on the boat on foot itself.Additionally, if seated at the back and top part of the boat, you can hardly even hear the recorded guide thanks to the old motor running in the back. Please try investing in proper quality speakers and having multiple instead of one small one for each compartment. Felt like it was a construction site slowly moving on water.
