Billa has quite nice sortiment and is the closest of markets to dormitory Hvězda. However, Billa is pretty expensive and is rather focused on gain rather then customer service. Most discounts are only available if you have their club card and even after that discount, it is a price, that some markets does have regularly without discount, which is a foul trick. Also some staff members are annoying and they do not really care much about customer. I wonder why they usually puts the slowest of their members to self-checkouts. It is 3 times in a row, when I had to use my food-credit card once again, because before staff came to confirm my payment method, transaction was already cancelled automatically. Also their self-checkouts are programmed quite poorly and miss a lot of food pictures. If I have a choice, I like to choose different market.

Just like other Billa shops, crowded around rush hour since people hopping on and off the metro/tram/bus do their grocery shopping here en route.

Self-service cash registers staffs manners are punchworthy. People like that should stay away from any customer related business. Its Billas fault that cash registers are not working properly. Raise salaries so you can hire better people and provide some nice customer experience instead of this horror.

It's alright looking grocery shop at first sigth, but there are details that matter. Statistically speaking pretty much all the fruits and vegetables we bought went off very rapidly, potatoes, onions, tomatoes, carrots it all goes off way too quickly. Our neighbour for a village where I stay many weekends buys potatoes for pigs and the quality is much higher compared to the Billa offering.Another catch are the breads and bakery products in general. Again they don't last and very often when you come around at 6 staff already refuses to resupply so often you end up having to go elsewhere to buy bakery products.It may seem like a good shop at first sight, but it has severe product as well as staff quality deficiencies
