Horský hotel Čarták

Quite nice place for family, also for tourists. Very good kitchen, friendly staff.

Wonderful, delicious food, great old-worldly vibe and amazing beer. Came here with Czech friends who recommended the local favorites - blueberry 'buchty', 'Soláňský' schnitzel, 'Česnečka' (garlic) soup, and 'Játra na roštu' (roasted pork livers). Everything was scrumptious, filling, and yet not too big to finish. The dining room is quite small and cozy, so come here during the week, between lunch and dinner, so you don't have to wait too long. They have an outdoor terrace but it wasn't open.We didn't stay here (at the hotel) but got a tour of the rooms, so that explains the pics of the rooms. They are cozy and well-appointed, often sleeping in a true mountain hotel fashion - on bunk beds.The whole area is just picture perfect... Take a half (or whole) day to walk off the food and take in the beauty of Beskydy - the local mountains/region.

At autumn holiday weekend you expect chaos in mountain hotels: too many people, unfriendly service, long waits and overpriced food. This place was exactly the opposite. Yes there were too many people, but they managed the crowd efficiently, service was super fast and genuinely friendly. The food was very well priced but above all DELICIOUS!

Really pleased with the visit. View from the terrace is great, you can see the kids play field and late afternoon sun provides warmth till late. Potato pancake with meet and cabbage was amazing, so were sweet blueberry filled dumplings with cottage cheese. Waiting service was fast and friendly.

A pub/restaurant with quite long history. Its very popular place and is often very busy, which is a good sign for good pub/restaurant. Location is more than stunning. Interior is very traditional, well maintained. Food is also traditional and excellent. Staff is professional and friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Toilets are clean. The place provides accommodation as well.

I can review only food. And that was good. The place os very crowdy but it goes hand in hand with that location.

During lunch time was crowded and only two options left. But it was nice in the afternoon for a coffee or beer after a walk is nice. Plus it has playground for kids.

Everytime coming here for dining. Food is really good, traditional local cuisine.

Nice hotel in the mountains. A place you will enjoy a lot. Vintage style, amazing views.
