Restaurant and food is fantastic. Not a touristy place, but with really nice Czech cuisine. We didn’t wait for long, probably less then 10 min and it with a few changes in the dish my friend had. So if you don’t like particular side, don’t be afraid to change to more suitable option for you.

If in Prague, make it a MUST to go to this restaurant. 6 beers, 4 entrees and a large beer cheese appetizer was less than $50 (US dollars). Our menu was in English and Czech. We always order the pork with dark mushroom sauce, my husband gets the spicy goulash. It's PHENOMENAL with amazing and friendly service. Easy to get to and not touristy- Authentic Czech food. This is where the locals gather and be merry. Hands down the best food we've had so far while living in Europe. Service was great, polite and friendly. We do make a point of 1. Being polite and 2. Eating during off-peak times.

The restaurant is a bit outside the city center but close enough. Definitely worth the detour! The neighborhood is very nice and calm, you can discover a nice residential area. The restaurant is amazing, very good Czech traditional food and ambiance. I recommend

Tasty food and good beer ! Restaurant in Prague 6-Bubeneč district, about 30 minutes slowly walk from Prague Castle.
The restaurant was full, we found a table without reservation. Lots of locals with families - that's a good sign.
You can pay by card, the service is friendly and understands Polish. The decor is more in the style of a pub or tavern maintained in a characteristic Czech style: many tables, space and a bar with many taps with beer We ordered goulash soups and three different main dishes.The soup tasted delicious the best I've eaten in the Czech Republic. Main dishes - very large portions, fresh ingredients, everything tastes good and looks appetizing.The beer was so good, at the end I also recommend a glass of local alcohol - Beherovka.Prices compared to the rest of the pubs in Prague are much lower. I paid around 35 euros for our bill for 3 people.

It's really a proper czech pub/restaurant with excellent guys. We could spend a long time here without a urging to leave. The menu and the temper is excellent. Iván propose to try it whom don't wanna have a regular, booring tourist type restaurant ín the down town.

Great beer and even better food, one of the best Czech cuisines in Prague and not expensive, awesome staff that just makes you feel like home (I'm from CZ) especially important in the capital. Will come again.

I just edited my 5 star review to this, because the restaurant staff changed. You still have some of the previous cooks and waiters working there, so if you're in luck, you get a 5 star best restaurant and pub experience in Prague. The one that is my all time favourite restaurant/pub - period.If you're not, however, they are slow, rather unkind or unhelpful. Pity.You can still try your luck though, it might be a good night, and the beer is still excellent.

We visited around 8 years ago whilst travelling (we stayed at the hostel Dakura, 2 minute walk away).Revisited a couple of weeks ago for a bit of nostalgia, and it’s still as good! Great food, great beer, and the same staff from when we visited 8 years ago! Great local pub/restaurant.
