PPL CZ DEPO + CENTRÁLNÍ PŘEKLADIŠTĚ

PPL driver refused to deliver my package, so i called PPL customer service to rectify the issue, but PPL customer service representative only made matters worse. I will never use PPL again. The parent company (DHL) should be made aware of the poor service PPL provides. highly unprofessional conduct both by the delivery driver and the customer service rep.

It took 10 days to deliver ONE SMALL parcel from Olomouc to Prague. The worst is that we even choose the address to work, so we know that there is always someone on reception. But noooo, they sent it back to Olomouc and they had to send the parcel again! Never again

Such a poor service. They don't deliver package, claim they called you, etc. and it isn't true. Even customer service lies. And this happens almost always. I think I'd be better off using pigeon post. I surely could communicate and agree with pigeon better than with people from this company.

This company was my first bad experience in Czech Republic and it is still continue. They just ignore the basic concepts of costumer care or professionalism.Few example to illustrate :- Most of the time, no SMS, no email sent to the costumer which could help to anticipate the delivery, usually done during working times.- Can say that they were in front of your building, that they called you, rang the bell, but you didn't came : Very not true. The reality is they sometimes prefer to end their day quickly. One time I took a week on Home Office waiting for the guys, they did this 3 times....- Can say that they will come back the next working day if you weren't there the first time : not true, usually you wait and then the package goes back to the sender.Just use DPD.cz or Ceska Posta for your deliveries if you don't want to loose time and energy with these clowns.

This is the worst delivery experience you can imagine. I ordered a package from Germany and it was passed to PPL from DHL. While on the German side everything went fine: normal updates on its status, SMS info, tracking is working. As it passed to PPL suddenly there was no news anymore. After a few days I checked their site which said they came on that day to deliver the package and nobody was at home, which was a complete lie as we were working from home and nobody rang the bell.Long story short - this repeated another time where they wrote on the site that we didn't have identification documents on delivery, although no one came. Then the updates stopped completely. I called customer support and while they were kind they literally said that since they couldn't deliver the packages we have to go pick it up at their Depo. Oh also, they don't have the obligation to inform you they are coming to deliver, just FYI. And they don't care that the delivery driver didn't even bother ringing on your door.Their warehouse is in the middle of nowhere and open only on work weeks of course, a 30min car drive from our home. I have to take time off work and waste my life doing somebody else's work. What are they getting paid for in the first place I ask, if I need to get my deliveries by myself and unpaid at that?I am never, ever doing business with them again and strongly advise everyone against it.

I have a rather strong believe that DPD is the worst delivery company ever, but let's see how my situation with PPL is going to develop. Most of the time they deliver my packages just fine. Yesterday though their parcel shop" was closed for no reason (how they check quality of their parcel shops is a separate discussion...)

As a natural person that gets deliveries almost every 3 days, I always love when my parcels are delivered by PPL, they always arrive early, they tell you a time frame where your shipment will arrive and the couriers are incredibly friendly.I truly do not understand the negative comments here, probably individual problems. I see a lot of them are over 2 years old so the situation might have changed.I can't say PPL is perfect but they are the best if I compare with other couriers, most of them are terrible except UPS, DPD and DHL in my experience, I still prefer PPL over the others.

Updating my review. The driver that was so rude actually apologized to the lady mentioned below. She confirmed that to me. Suppose he was having a bad day but really nice to hear he did apologize.Have had mixed results with ppl but after watching how rude their employee was when delivering a package yesterday I will never choose them again if there is another option. Driver literally was screaming at a lady for how she was parked. Her car was not parked that bad and he had plenty of room to go around.

PPL is the worst company ever in Czech republic! You always have a bad surprise when you wait a package to be delivered by them. The score is under Zero!Again, I received another email today from PPL that I'm going to receive a package today. I said to my colleague that I'm going to cross my fingers... And voila! After a while, I went to check on their website why it seems they are late? And this is what I found :The consignment is on the wrong depot and will be delivered the next business day. Personal collection is not possible today, we apologize for complications.How could a company like this survive in 2018 with too many concurrents? The quality is clearly under zero here !They just give a very bad image on Czech republic!

I always choose PPL over any other couriers in CZ. One of the couriers knows me by my name now, that is how often I use their service. Never disappoint, always call before they come. There's one time the package was not delivered during the day because I wasn't home. They arranged and delivered it to me in the evening instead. Good customer service.
