Avoid like the plague. Especially if vegetarian. Their house specialty is taking a full hour to prepare three burgers while there are only about 8 guests, and the vegetarian salad with just mozzarella (specifically asked whether it was indeed vegetarian, which was quite a challenge as they do not speak a word of any language other than Czech) was somehow covered in meat. Bringing the salad back because it was about as vegetarian as your average T-bone steak still resulted in them putting it on the bill. Also nearly 50 czk for a normal beer, a bit expensive for Czech standards.

The food was delicious and the decoration of the restaurant is nicely picturesque, but the waiting was long and the staff polite, but not very welcoming. Better without small children.

Massively photo-shopped pictures on the website. The furniture and the interior inside the rooms are old, dirty, outdoor swimming pool was filthy, so was my room: with spider nets, hair in the sink and some trash in a rubbish bin form previous guests or whatever, windows didn't open. Breakfast is terrible - lowest quality bread and sandwich cheese, semi-raw apple strudel, instant coffee, the service is poor too. They try to be who they are not by doing some random efforts like selection of teas and nicely decorated dining room in the restaurant, and some decorations, only good for the pictures, but this doesn't cover up for major things.

Perfect location in the heart of Křivoklát, few steps from the castle and immerse in nature. Good check food, drinks and lovely staff. A plus is the swimming pool in the private garden. Definitely worth the price!

Horrible service. Stay away.Came here while there were only 2 other tables in use. Waiter was quick with getting our order and serving beer. Didn't speak a word of English, German, Italian, French, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish or Finnish. We do. Explicitly asked about the salad if it was vegetarian, in broken Czech. Waiter confirmed it was.Then we waited an hour, while the kitchen couldn't have been busy, for 3 burgers and a salad. Salad with mozeralla was mozeralla covered in ham. Explicitly not vegetarian. Their answer was something like 'just don't eat it'. They came back later with a salad while I had made it clear to leave it, as they already ruined my girlfriend's birthday.
