I can’t find any words to describe how bad my experience was. Only two people were kind enough to tell us where to go.I won’t even talk about how you do n’t know where to go cuz that’s just horrible. I went to the ER cuz my ear was hurting and the audacity that the nurse and doctor had..oh my goodness. I’m so angry, first when that nurse saw us she looked like she saw a ghost, then she took us to that ER. Then when she found out I had Covid she was like “oh what do you expect? It hurts from that” and I was like ok but still it hurts I need some check up.I wouldn’t be surprised if she was hoping I would go home. She had so much attitude for nothing. Then finally the doctor came and I went in and they were like why come now(4am) when it could wait until morning and I said because it was unbearable at this moment and that’s what ER is for. I swear they laugh at me and said it’s not true. So I would say Volha Tsiatserych isn’t a good doctor and I don’t think that’s the way you approach people. I know they are tired but so am I. She even spilled a cup of water on me and she didn’t even apologize, like common. Yeah she took care of me but it was the worst experience ever. I’m not mentioning any small talks they had about why I was even there.

1. What to bring to your urgently hospitalized friend: slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, underwear, shower gel, shampoo, fruits, food for breakfast and dinner (yogurts, tomatoes, cucumbers, eggs, salats, soups), phone charger, magazines, crosswords or books, audiobooks, hair brush, some hobby magazines (drawing by numbers etc). Ask your friend if he has appetite, if yes you can bring homemade food. Also ask him if he is able to think, if he cannot, then there is no point in bringing books. But you can bring comics with pictures which don’t require mental efforts.2. What do patients eat?Breakfast: 2 slices of cheap bread, butter or grilled cheese, one cheap rohlik, one tangerine, cheap cacao. Lunch: soup + some meal with meat (lunch is the tastiest part). Dinner: 3 slices of bread, hum, one banana. So what you need to know is that no one likes the food. Even when we get tea or juice, it’s 10% of juice and the rest is water. To be honest, I don’t understand why the hospital invests money in such cheap food (tasteless bread, dry potatoes). The money is invested in poor food which gets threw out anyway. Why can’t it be invested in something better, something which sick people would eat? They would recover faster, isn’t it the goal of the hospital? I’m really not that picky regarding food but in Prague I never ate such bad meals.3. What is the rooms’ condition? There are three people in one room. Beds are automatic. And probably it’s the best fact out of it. I lied there in December 2021, and it was terribly hot at night. I couldn’t sleep. Doctors say that the heating is not changeable, so they just open windows for us. There’s no much space in the room. I wish there were shelves on the walls. One of the worst things was bright light. It was too bright, so we turned off everything and opened the door, so that we could use the light from the corridor. There are, of course, bedside lamps, but they are even stronger than the main lights. It’s super uncomfortable (that’s why you can bring an eye mask to your friend). It’s very noisy as well, in the room you hear everything what is going on in the hall. TV, people talking, elevator moving etc.The personnel is very kind and cheerful. Such amazing people! They understand that patients cannot eat the food, but they try to encourage them. That’s all they can do anyway. They are awake at night so there will be always someone to help you. What could be done better: the food could be better; there could be at least cheap hooks/shelves on the walls; instead of the huge bright bedside lamps it’s better to put there small lamps for reading; the temperature in any facility must be +18 +20 degrees and the humidity must be around 60%. I’m absolutely sure in FNB it doesn’t stand the requirements, it’s much hotter and drier. Therefore, as a patient, you won’t rest in the hospital. It’s good for them to control your condition, but for sure it’s better to leave the place asap.

I am shocked how they got so many 1-star reviews. I am a student who studies abroad here. They were the best doctors and nurses I've ever met. They made sure my need was taken care of even going over to translate some documents from Czech to English. I do understand the wait is for long hours but it's a public hospital with a lot of patients yet every doctor tries to solve each patient's issue. So respect towards them. Most doctors and nurses are extremely accommodating, and I am so grateful to them. Thank you so much for everything you did for me. Especially The Neurologie department Doctor Rusnakova. You are the best!! I am so grateful to you.

stay away from this so called „hospital“!!! inhumane conditions where patients are beaten and forced to take medications without informing them about it. human rights are ignored and patients are suffering from the sadistic stuff. they even cover for each other to hide their sick perversions and continued with their lies when the police came. due to the criminal activities that take place in here it would only be right to close that institution and arrest every single employee who is involved in those sick crimes including the head of the psychiatry.

Old socialist hospital, maze of buildings and departments so make sure you know exactly where you need to be. It looks worse than it is. Exorbitant parking prices and count with 10+ minutes to find a spot. Don't expect any of the staff to speak English. Doctors are fine and I have no complaints to the quality of the healthcare itself. Nurses in general are very arrogant and rude (as always in Czech healthcare, they serve more as administrative force and are overworked, but opening line what do you want?" just sets you up nicely for what is to come). Waiting times can be terrible
