Pěkná kaple

Usazená na nenápadném místě při cestě ke kostelu, kaple sv. Jana Nepomuckého je hezky zrenovovaná a udržovaná. Je zděná, natřena žlutě a bíle, se zdobenou kovovou bránou. Uvnitř je umístěna barevná pískovcová socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého z roku 1710. Původně stála u mostu přes Křetínku, kde ji při povodni strhl proud. Později, na počest dostavby kostela sv. Petra a Pavla, stála mezi nově vysazenými lípami. Jen pár metrů od lip nechal v 19. století postavit tuto kapli majitel panství hradu Svojanova. Později ji opravili místní řemeslníci, sochu restauroval Daniel Bartoš a původní mobiliář byl prohlášen za národní kulturní památku.Settled in an inconspicuous place on the way to the church, the chapel of St. John of Nepomuk is nicely renovated and maintained. It is brick, painted yellow and white, with a decorated metal gate. Inside is a colored sandstone statue of St. Jan Nepomucký from 1710. It originally stood by the bridge over Křetínka brook, where it was torn down by a current during a flood. Later, in honor of the completion of the church of St. Peter and Paul, stood among the newly planted linden trees. Just a few meters from the linden trees, the owner of the Svojanov castle estate built this chapel in the 19th century. Later it was repaired by local craftsmen, the statue was restored by Daniel Bartoš and the original furniture was declared a national cultural monument.
