Initially thought this was am odd place in a basement directly off the street. Turned out to be an absolute gem of a find. The traditional Czech food was very good (1 Goulash and 1 rabbit), the ambience relaxed and unhurried, service was prompt and friendly. Reasonably priced and not your normal tourist-type venue.

Perfect experience, very good beer, the food was perfect. Is a small brewery, and the owner was top notch from every point. Must try all the beers and the Schnaps made from beer, it’s something out of this world. This place I will recommend to everyone who comes to Prague!Thank you very much for the wonderful experience!

This place is an absolute gem! Would give more than five stars, if possible. Below street level with a comfortable and cozy feel, the wood fire was roaring and the Christmas decorations were awesome. Our waiter was lovely and you could see the care and quality of the food/menu when the food arrives. It’s sneaky gourmet, too, with great prices yet very high-end presentation and flavor. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I haven’t even talked about the beer yet…while there are only a few options, they’re all quality offerings and clearly made with skill and focused on pairing with the food. I had a full glass of all three of their beers and they were all absolutely delicious. This was the best experience we had in Prague over the long weekend.

Delicious food and they brew their own beer! We really enjoyed the rabbit leg with a pumpkin slice and potato dumplings. The duck in a giant dumpling was also good. Looking forward to trying their venison dishes on our next visit here… hopefully soon!!!

This place is so unassuming from the outside. I loved it! Three of us enjoyed the venison goulash. Another enjoyed the duck that was inside a bread dumpling. Of course there had to be a pork knuckle at our table. We also enjoyed the pickled cheese starter which I thought was super unique and tasty.

We enjoyed stay here very much! We took few beers and goulash with rabbit leg and the food was superb! And the view in a plate was not expected in a beer bar, it looked as you were dining in the restaurant! Highly recommended!And another word must be added about the desert! These little pancakes with blueberry jam are worth the sin! I would add an extra star even for them

Everything we had was super delicious, especially the tartar. Also Duck or Gulasch are really good choices to enjoy. The beer was delicious as well. Prices are reasonable.

Definitely one of the best best tasting places in Prague. We have not tried the food but it looks delicious. We tried the local lager and stout. The prices are extremely reasonable.
