Very nice place, with good food, amazing local beer, and a stunning view. If you're in the area (where it's rather difficult to find a good place to eat and rest), and want to enjoy the mountainous area, this is a perfect spot to enjoy, especially in nice weather, so you can eat outside.

EDITED AFTER MY SECOND VISIT: Okay, as you can see below, my first visit was great. BUT... three months later... We (three of us) got there on a nice summer weekend day, the place was half full (or less), and when the waitress came to our table, she told us that if we wanted food it would take an hour and a half. Oh. We were not in a big hurry, but we didn't have THAT much time to waste. They also wouldn't serve us anything that was already cooked and ready, because that wouldn't be fair to people who had ordered regular meals. We had a beer and got the hell out of there.SO, here's the original review:I came here four years ago from California, and I don't often order burgers in the Czech Republic. THAT burger may be the best one I've had. Anywhere. What else was great? The dark beer, the location, the service, and that weird cake!____________________________I MIGHT go back, but I will definitely call first!

This is a great place to eat and drink. The food is very tasty, with big portions and a good selection of traditional Czech dishes. But you mustn't forget to try the beer, after all, it is a brewery! They produce a lovely, smooth, extremely drinkable beer that you'll want to take home, so just ask for the large bottles they keep in the fridge. And for drivers and teetotalers, I highly recommend their homemade lemonade - it's ridiculously refreshing!

A family-run restaurant with their own beer and beer lemonade which offers meals and snacks throughout the year. There is a lovely outside-seating area overlooking the mountains and a pond.

Very good food, especially Beef burger. Restaurant is located in old factory, so it's interesting place to eat in. Absolutely recommend.

If you love czech beer and hearty meals after a long skiing day or hike this place is for you. Loved the Beefsteak Tartar and the Gulash, prices are absolutely reasonable. They have froendly staff and you can visit some parts of the brewery. Good option for bigger groups!

Great spot, great beer that's brewed on the premises, reasonable prices, good food and quick service. Set on the side of perstejn and with a land mark chimney stack that is visible as you drive in off the main highway. It has a patio / viewing deck that looks out across the small town itself. In summer it gets quite busy with cyclists dropping in for a beer and lunch. Across the the narrow road is a pond where you can sit and feed the local ducks who don't go anywhere because they are constantly fed. And up on the hill behind pivovar, set in amongst the pine trees but not visible is the ruins of an old castle that is well worth the climb and that you need to be reasonably fit for as the track up is quite step in places. It's a beautiful walk with views. The castle was built around 1120! The menu is in Czech and German but not in English. Parking is tight though. A great spot in an old town!

Pretty good accommodation. Food is fine, beer is ever better, service very kind. They were even so nice to prepare us a breakfast to our rooms because of our early leaving before ordinary serving.

Solid standard. Desítka, dvanáctka, polotmavé and IPA. Nice space with fireplace, quality cuisine - that's all you need.
