This isn't for everyone, but for those with an interest, it is well worth the time. A nice 2-story exhibit (mostly furniture) and a short slide show featuring prominent Cubist architects. I found it well done and very interesting. The staircase is a fabulous example of Cubist design. There's also a lovely period cafè on the first floor (great for a stop afterwards).

A concise history of Cubism in Czech Republic through print, architecture, furnishing and decorative art pieces. Those who are into design will find this fascinating. I spent about 45 mins here. I read all the large information panels and spent longer looking at those exhibits that interested me. I discovered a map showing other Cubism architectural places of interest around the city. Unfortunately I was at the end of my time in Prague, so I did not get to see these. Cafe on the first floor looked very inviting, less crowded than cafe below and more authentic. The place is very quiet, with a selection of exhibits that fully demonstrate the importance of Cubism in the Czech Republic. It is not a big museum, but it is beautifully curated.

It was a disappointment. But we don't know what we were expecting - it was CZECH cubism museum, not cubism museum. On 2 floors there were only a few paintings, some furniture and sculptures. And that's it. It looked nice, but there was only so much text to read about things (which was boring). It was museum speed run, it took us about 20 mins max. For real cubism fans it might be great, but for just tourist it is not fun at all.

Well, let’s start with the house. It is unbelievable! Do not hesitate to enter, climb the unique staircase and enjoy the exhibition of Czech Cubism. On the way back do not miss the café on the first floor (this is the real cubist style one; not the café on the ground floor).

It's interesting to get an idea about cubism, specially on the architectural and interior design aspects buy also on the limits of its practicality. The building itself is the fist architecture piece done in the cubism style, as far as I understood. At the fist level there is the original cafe design in cubism style as well. The visit starts from the 4th floor and then go down.If you get the ticket for the Museum of decorative arts (the one next to the old Jewish cemetery), this cubism museum is included as well, which is very nice. To pay a full ticket just for the cubism museum would be too much for me (10 euro), as there is not that much too see here unless you are a diehard fan of cubism. The staff was very nice, though, and very passionate about cubism that they would want to show you around and point out some of the important parts of the displays.
