Velká synagoga
The synagogue is an interesting visit. The structure is impressively large and can host many worshippers on the ground floor and the balcony. The temple is very beautifully decorated with wood and plaster finishing and many religious ornaments. Some walls have amazing stained-glass windows. There was a nice photography exhibition when we were there as well.

Beautiful synagogue, unusual with the onion domes on top. One of the biggest in Europe. Closed to the public. One of the top sights in Plzen.

Nice,old building. Kids weren't that enamored, but we were. The current photo exposition throughout the building shows very nice pictures of the normal life of Chech and Plzn during the interbellum.

Worth to visit while exploring Plzeň. A must to dig deeper in history. 2nd largest Synagogue in Europe, reopen after intense renovation. And now even more impressive!

Beautifully renovated Great Synagogue - the third biggest in the world. Nice exhibition and magnificent experience altogether. Reminder of once vibrant and prosperous community of Pilsener Jews. Highly recommended.

Impressive building. Worth the 120CK. Refurbished, two years ago it was closed for renovation. The exhibition of b/w pics about jewish life is worth the fee alone. Contrary to my homecountry they seem to need no police outside for protection.

A must visit place if you are in Plzen. Have not seen a more beautiful place of worship. A great example of the rich traditions of the Jews.
