Maisel Synagogue is one of the historical monuments of the former Prague Jewish quarter. It was built at the end of the 16th century which is considered to be the golden age of the ghetto. Since then its appearance has changed several times, its actual style is neo-gothic

Part of the complex of synagogues in Prague’s Old TownThe Maiselova Synagogue is a beautiful old synagogue near the Old Town Square. The interior is devoted primarily to remembering the history of the Jewish community in the Czech lands from the Middle Ages and onwards, with all the sadness and travails that were endured by the community during that time. The tickets for this synagogue are not sold individually and are instead part of the wider ticket that is sold. So it is best to plan to see this in conjunction with the other nearby synagogues, such as Pinkasova, Spanelska, etc.
