Nikola has a perfect 5+!When my then-fiancée, now wife, Hana was looking into wedding planners, Niky stood out.Besides knowing which flower arrangements match the spring mood, Niky’s talent for navigating the bureaucratic entanglements needed to make a wedding between a Czech with a foreigner legal and official, were unmatched.The legal hurdles were such that we can honestly say that without Niky, we could not have organized that wedding in the record time that we did. We realized that most weddings take a year to plan, but the short four months since our engagement were a blur of collecting old papers in attic boxes, apostilles, filling and re-filling applications and affidavits at the Prague municipality and translating them back and forth. Niky coordinated all of that brilliantly, even as she was caring for a newborn baby.Niky also knew the Prague wedding venues like the back of her hand, greeting their managers on a first-name basis as we visited during those snowy days. We finally settled for the most majestic of them all, the Lobkowitz Palace at the Prague Castle.At the wedding itself, Niky and her assistant Karolina earned the moniker “The Green Squad” for the elegant, forest-green color of their dresses but also for their readiness to assist guests and solve all kinds of issues at a second’s notice.We heartily and enthusiastically recommend Niky and her colleagues, and more than happy to chat in person about that perfect and unforgettable wedding they went above-and-beyond to help organize.

We found Nikola through a simple google search for wedding planners in Prague. After perusing through the Julie May website, looking through all the beautiful past weddings and reading through the testimonials, we were sold on having our wedding planned by Nikola/Julie May Weddings.Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Nikola was so kind, respectful, and relaxed. She guided us through making payments to vendors overseas, helped us create the perfect vision/mood board, talked us through each vendor option, and reminded us when payments were due. We mostly communicated through text and we had at least 4 video calls to go through details more in depth.When the wedding week finally arrived, we had a pre-wedding meeting to fully go over details and then another meeting the day before the wedding at the actual venue location where we talked through all the nitty gritty.The close relationship Nikola has with each vendor (DJ, flowers, decoration, venue, catering, photographers, videographers) truly made the experience unforgettable. They were incredible artists, that were professional and kind and the quality of their work is outstanding. I truly believe that the relationships that Nikola has fostered with these vendors made the entire experience seamless.Nikola herself has an incredible eye for detail, always prepared for any situation that arises, and again so calm and relaxed throughout the entire process especially the day of the wedding.Her passion for her work is unmatched and her high energy and quality of work speak for themselves - our guests are still talking about how wonderful our wedding was! And the entire time, Nikola was balancing a newborn and multiple weddings all at the same time!Overall, our wedding was straight out of a Pinterest board and we could not recommend nor imagine anyone better than Nikola to have planned and executed it. My husband and I had the pleasure to work with Nikola, from Julie May Weddings. We cannot thank her enough, she was and still continues to be, so supportive and helpful throughout this entire journey. As many weddings in the last couple of years, we had to postpone. Still, we wouldn't have managed to get everyone to our destination wedding in the Czech Republic. With that said, we decided to have a small wedding and have postponed the big wedding until October 2022. It all happened so fast and we held off on our decision until the very last moment. Despite all the uncertainty happening and the impromptu decision to go small, Nikola managed to put together the perfect intimate wedding for us. It was even better than we had imagined, I especially couldn't have pictured this day without Nikola there to work her magic. We decided to work with Nikola due to her energy and passion for her work, and we could not be happier with that decision.Nikola is creative, high-energy and professional, taking on everything we needed to create the perfect wedding for us. She responded quickly, helped us with budget, made recommendations for venues, suppliers etc so we have all angles covered. We never felt pressured to accept the recommendations (though we did in almost every case).In addition, as a non-EU couple from different countries getting married in Czech during the pandemic, things were much more complicated than usual, with changing paperwork requirements and a postponement. Nikola handled every challenge with professionalism and competence, presenting us with options and ensuring that we could go ahead.My wife and I both appreciate her kindness, support and guidance during the entire process, and the result was perfect. Nikola planned and organized our wedding with 96 guests in villa richter, Prague. She is very friendly, organized and had good solutions for our preferences and needs. Always presented a variety of options within different price range and styles that we could choose from. Always available. On the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly (to our knowledge -if there was a problem, she fixed it without us involved). Very much recommend.
