The hotel loby looks good but when we arrived in the rooms they smelled bad and I think other people smoked inside. Also the rooms are very noisy and you can hear people snore and talk. But that was not the worst thing. When we checked out the guy at the reception was very rude and not willing to help and was very agressive toward us and this kind of bad hospitality i have never encounterd before. I will never come back to this hotel again.

Not bad hotel, but service is awful and breakfast was not really good - very limited options, time is early and at 9 a.m. there were not even glasses for water and almost any food.Receptionist blocked my room car at 11.50 saying it’s time to check out!Street is under construction and no one informed us about this. Hotel doesn’t answer on questions via email

I've stayed 4 nights in this hotel few days ago: the restaurant is very good, the rooms are clean. Unfortunately the lack of air conditioning and the double mattress in the double bed were not nice. The breakfast is really good. Well connected with Metro/bus and airport. The staff is friendly, the price really good.

Three-star rooms, reasonable breakfasts, helpful staff. I chose this hotel coz it's near the metro, which takes you to the Prague center in 8 mins. Great alternative to downtown hotels / apts. Plus you get to stay in an area that's not damaged" by tourists = reasonable prices in local shops

There are road works outside the building which does not give a good impression. The front is a bit old fashioned. It’s a basi well kept hotel. The room was recently renovated and was spotless. We had dinner on the restaurant terrace out the back which was very good value compared to the city centre and very under rated.

Front desk staff seemed disinterested and lacked the basic courtesy that one would expect from a hotel. Their tone was dismissive when I requested an iron. If you need to iron some clothes don’t expect them to provide it, they will hand you price list and you can get it at prescribed time. Room in general is okay, but nothing basic inside, no AC you can’t even boil water for a tea or something. Only housekeeping doing their job, it was quite clean.

The room was ok, but the lack of air conditioning was enough to make our stay somehow difficult. Also take into consideration that if you are traveling by car the parking is limited and outside the hotel the prices of parking spots are kind of expensive.Also the waitresses in the breakfast area are kind of rude and with limited knowledge of English, and try to catch customers getting food out of the restaurant. The reception was decent and very polite.

Dobrje den! The Avon Hotel is very clean and offers a friendly welcome. The breakfast is splendid as the Restaurant Ballon offers tasty meals. The bed is comfortable as i am tall and heavy. The heating during days in the autumn was responding quickly and without any noise. A S Train station is near. And with one change to the underground you are soon in the old town.

Front desk isn't very polite. Had our reservation screwed up and they were more then willing to upsell. They eventually realized their mistake. Breakfast also closes early so don't expect them to follow their posted signs. I wish I had something nice to say about my stay
