This used to be a military barrack, today the building inside is mostly empty, but the big inner courtyard and the side buildings are used for various purposes- bar (best in warm weather, lots of outdoor seating), beach volleyball court with sand in summer/ ice skating rink in the winter, summer cinema with big screen and yellow chill chairs, playground for kids, exhibition space, etc.In the early afternoon hours it’s a great place with kids, plenty of space for them to play and for you to have a drink and sit back.From around 6pm onwards the place usually fills up, becomes very lively with people grabbing a drink after work, or coming for a concert in one of the side buildings.Note: bazen or pool (also on a few of the pictures in the reviews) is currently being worked on, is therefore closed.

One of my spring-summer spots to hang out and go for a drink in Prague. Quite accessible by metro line B or C. You can enjoy on this spot an outdoor cinema and an outdoor volleyball pitch. As a bonus, you can enjoy a drink in a unique swimming pool cafe.

Wow, stumbled across this place by chance, amazing, amazing history and hopefully an amazing future, the bar within the old barracks swimming pool was an added gem with a cool vibe.

Very interesting place even during winter season. I can only imagine how this place looks in summer, when it’s full of people. Average prices for beer and other beverages. An uncommon usage of old swimming pool as a cafe and bar area.

Honestly, this place is sheer perfection. I come here at least once a week when the weather is nice. A former military barracks where part of the site is open to the public for drinks, coffee, food, movies, cultural events and beach volley. The courtyard is lively while the inside could be more laid back for some to work on their laptops. Otherwise, the service is amazing and i often meet cool new people.

A very nice location for chilling in the evening or afternoon. Plenty of activities are going on here and there might be concerts and all other activities. Nice drinks and a hip area.

Very atmosphere place in the middle of Prague. Good for date, meeting with friends, studying. Prices are good, big and interesting menu. Definitely recommend

Very nice and cosy place to have a coffee ot drinks, especially in spring/summer. Also quite calm to take your laptop and work. Prices are reasonable and although I liked the garden more, interior is also very interesting.

Aperol was good. Coffee not so good. Location is cool, but overrated. Overall okay but not a must do.
