An incredible church, the most beautiful in Brno. Everything here is luxurious: an organ with angels, statues of saints, a pulpit for sermons, an altar, lighting. We came here for the second time and were just as impressed by the beauty. During the Christmas holidays, a wonderful nativity scene is displayed in the church. Very nice atmosphere in the temple. I also recommend going to the liturgy, it is very atmospheric here in the evening.

The monastic church of St. John the Baptist was consecrated in 1257, the monastery and church were rebuilt in Baroque style in the first third of the 18th century, the work being led by the Brno architect Moritz Grimm. Besides the church and monastic buildings, the entire complex also consists of the Loreto with its Holy House and Holy Stairs (an imitation of the Holy Stairs which, according to legend, were tread by Jesus Christ in Jerusalem in the palace of Pontius Pilate. Beautiful baroque church, dedicated to Saint John the evangelist and to Saint John the baptist. The church is lavishly decorated and painted. It is connected to the Loreto Chapel.
