Dhaba Beas

I really wanted to give Dhaba Beas a higher rating but I got food poisoning from eating here. We went for dinner around 5-6pm. I was here with a friend and they were fine so it may have been only one dish that was not prepared properly or left out too long. Plenty vegan options too and the food tasted great. I had pad Thai, peanut sauce, samosa, sprouts, marinated tofu. Very affordable prices. But soon after finishing my meal I started getting horrible intestinal cramps and let's just say I was saved by already being on the way back home and making it in time. I would not have been able to do anything else the rest of the evening, after what I ate at Dhaba Beas. I love the concept and the restaurant is comfortable (although the tables were slippery (?)). None of the staff speak English and there are no instructions on how the buffet works in English. I find that really unusual in a capital city. I initially planned to eat here again but once my food poisoning symptoms started I decided I wouldn't risk going again. They may need to work on how they display the food and keep track of when food has been out too long and remove it from the buffet. Reading that others have had similar experiences before me it seems they don't care to improve! I didn't specifically look for it but I'm not sure they have labels indicating the time each dish was put out. Maybe they should start doing that. I'd have been happy paying 20% more to not get food poisoning. The food would have been worth it. Running a buffet means that sometimes you have to throw away food. They should throw things out when they have been on display longer than whatever is legally allowed.

Great vegetarian buffet. Have what you like and price based on weight and any extras you have selected. Nice vibe and seats on the lovely garden courtyard to the front

super hidden vegan / vegetarian restaurant in the middle of a Slovansky dum, it's a buffet, a lot of tasty food and reasonable prices, water is served for free! Highly recommended!

I didn’t like the food here, compared with the other two vegan places I ate at in Prague. I prefer more Asian flavors. Instead I got artificial Western ones like barbecue sauce. But it’s a big space with lots of seating, and they have WiFi which is very helpful.

Fantastic meal. They offer a wonderful array of food options, and allow you to get as much or as little as you like for a decent price per 100g.I mixed it up and simply got everything, and the flavours were beautiful.The building is a haven in the middle of Prague, and the ambience is quiet and calm, the interior is accentuated by lots of indoor plants and spacious positioning of furniture.This was a really enjoyable experience. I will be back.

We were a little bit unlucky,because of of the foods on the buffet,were over,but nevertheless,really good vegetarian food,and of course you can eat A LOT

You pay by weight of whatever you take from the buffet, which is mostly vegan. It has a lot of different flavors and cuisines, like Thai, Viet, and Indian. Most dishes were quite savory, like the smoked tofu inside a dumpling. My meal was extremely cheap for what I got, and I was quite satisfied with it. Just beware - some dishes cost an extra 10 czk, which I didn't realize until i paid. Overall, good bang for your buck!

Great ambiance with good quality food and the best thing is that you take anything you want in any quantity that you like paying approximately 1 euro per 100 grams of food.
