Quite a lot of people because it's so close to Polish border and some mountain trails. We speak polish and we didn't have any issues with stuff and menu ( our waitress was awesome). Food was really tasty, and portions were reasonable.

This place is a joke. Maybe they serve good food but you have to be really lucky to get a chance to eat it.We came here one Friday evening and they had their biggest space booked for one group, the smaller one on the right for another, and they left 3(!) tables in the middle for walk-ins. We thought 'bad luck, will try the next day', this time not as spontaneous. We had the whole hike planned around this as it was supposed to be the highlight of the day.We get there and... Same story. Tons of walk-ins getting inside with us were sent away just like us. I asked the waiter is there any chance to get a table and he said that he doesn't know, maybe in 2 or 3 hours and the big space was blocked for 2 hours already. Incredible.We're talking about a restaurant offering breakfasts, dinners and beer, located on a hiking trail (!), just at the PL-CZ border so obviously it can get really crowdy.To the people behind this place: if you want to earn your coin like that, just make this place 'bookings only' and stop pretending you're a regular restaurant. Do you realise how many people I met on a trail who had to specifically choose to go down from the trail to visit your place to have dinner? And they all were 'told' not today. 2 days in a row. And the modern trend for restaurants now is to actually disallow bookings at all because it trumps the natural clientele circulation and leaves tons of people out, because there is no chance to even wait. I could maybe wait even an hour if the place is worth it but it wouldn't be enough with you.You are a joke and a waste of time.

Tasty food with nice service. They craft their own beer and there is a small shop in the entrance where you can buy it. Worth to visit after a hiking trip!

Brewery Trautenberk was established only in 2015 but soon became largely popular within region of Giant Mountains - Krkonoše. Quite challenge for the old-school classic from Trutnov.. I would say. It has prominent residence in the Horní-Malá Úpa just opposite of legendary Pomezní Bouda. It means almost exactly on the Czech-Polish boarder. They have smart daily menus and it is more then OK. Their beer offer is quite impressive. Flag ship is definitely Trautenberk 11° lager. Also my favourite. But they always have some Ale on tap.. like 14° APA, strong but pretty drinkable :-)
