came here a couple of times during our visit in Prague, beer is cheap and fresh and the cheesy balls were great! reminded me of something my grandmother made. it's traditional so nor for everyone maybe some would think it's basic. Great old style vibe of a pub! local crowd as well. old couples drinking beers.

A place with very good atmosphere and reasonable prices. I went there with my wife and we absolutely loved it: the waiters were very friendly with us. Very authentic Prague experience far from the tourist crowded restaurants of the Old Town Square.

Typical Czech pub. They have permanent menu and daily menu. The service is fast. I'm Czech. I'm not too crazy about their sauces with dumplings (Svickova, Rajska) but they have a great goulash and AMAZING veal schnitzel with crashed potatoes - my favorite, it's sooo crispy! I get this almost every time. Holland schnitzel with mashed potatoes is good too. If you see it on the menu, get it.

Classical Czech pub/restaurant. Very good beers, mainly Pilsner. Possibility of sitting outside during summer. Taste and quality of food is average. Nothing special. Don’t be surprised with service behaviour :) it’s kinda “ old school “ behaviour from the owner. Place is clean.

Polite and helpful service staff despite a slight language barrier. Can speak German and English. Service was efficient and atmosphere was authentic. Food was ok, grilled cheese was average, duck was nice, abit bland and a good portion size. French fries were slightly dry. Good value for money.

This is how I remembered the classic Czech pub/restaurant. Best place to start familiarising with Prague. Fresh beer and super dumplings.

The quality of Pilsner Urquell was excellent here, the food was above average. Depends on your interior preference, it's a classic Czech restaurant, so expect well aged wood everywhere you look and dim lighting.
