[7/8/2021]One of my favorite places in Brno. Unfortunately the quality of the watter is going down again. :(There is cyanobacteria sooner than usually, so the watter is again not suitable for a swimming. Hopefully when it gets colder the watter gets cleaner again. Also hope that the city take it under control for the upcoming years as here is really a lot you can do.

It's a must go. Beautiful reservoir with walking path to enjoy the nature. If you are more the hicking style you can take the path to the castle and walk around 10km and visit the Veveří Castle in Brno. At the reservoir you can swim with family or rent stand up paddle, and other vehicles to enjoy the summer.

An idyllic place to escape from the city. The lake can be reached by public transport, by the lake there are numerous restaurants and bars, many places for parking.

Nice place to visit in Brno. It’s far from the city center. You should go by tram number one from “hlavni nadrazi” to this beautiful view of Brno Lake. Really peaceful and cozy. Enjoy your weekend!
