I visit Tepla monastery's library, church and etc. during an astronomic conference. In the evening dinner was served in form of raut table. Delicious hot and cold meal and desserts were served. All of the food were tasty and sweet. I recommend this place for conference or even for individual visit. Staff were kind and nice.

Wonderful place full of history and art. The atmosphere is truly inspiring. This place is beautiful inside and outside, coming here to watch a concert is just mesmerising. I totally recommend visiting this place <3

It is a great mix of religion and history. It shows how hard times can be survived. At the moment you can visit the beautiful library and the convent and the church. All is worth it. Just walk around the pond, or the court and do a quick time travel. The place is kids and handicapped friendly. Parking is easy at the entrance, local products can be found and there is a little tea shop too.

The most important monastery in West Bohemia, where the monks still live, which is open to public (one part) and even allows the public to sleep in and meditate in the adjacent gardens. The Premonstratensian Monastery of Teplá was founded in 1193 by the Squire Hroznata, a Czech nobleman.
