Hotel Golf Prague

The hotel is excellent in terms of cleanliness, facilities and wide variety of breakfast dishes.However, when I arrived, after a 12-hour trip from Romania, I stood waiting for about 15 minutes in front of the reception desk for the receptionist to finish her laugh on the phone and she didn't seem bothered at all by my presence there. It was only when I put my identity card on the desk that she raised her eyes as if she was doing me a great favour.

Hotel has got its own parking,which you have to pay.Rooms are very clean.For breakfast,which is self-service, they have anything you want and need.Staff is very helpful.

It great location, just a few meters from the tram stations direct to the City centre and main station and breakfast generally everything is perfect, thanks for everything

Замечательный отель! Небольшой парк вокруг, можно погулять вечером. Близко от центра Праги. Пять остановок на троллейбусе, который едет со скоростью метро. Шикарный просто континентальный завтрак, которым наедаешься до вечера. Такое изобилие блюд!! Шведский стол. Короче все супер просто! Минус - отдельные кровати в свадебном номере для молодоженов. Это было давно в 2013 году, надеюсь, сейчас этот недостаток устранили. А в целом все супер. Чистый и тихий отель близко от центра. Соотношение цена и качество почти идеальное! Всем рекомендую!

The room was amazing and clean with a comfortable bed and all the area was quiet. The breakfast was varied and delicious. I will also give 5 from 5 * to all people from the service. Even if the location is a little bit far away from the centre of the city, you have the tram which resolves this 'issue'.

The building where we stayed was a construction site. Workers and construction equipment were in front of our windows every day. No alert from the hotel about this, no discount given for the inconvenience. We were charged in advance a half of the price, so I thought it was a discount. But, no... we were charged the rest, on the check-out, as it was a mistake at the registry. This is not a common practice at 4* hotels. It is a pity, as the rooms themselves are not bad (if no disturbance from the works around) and the breakfast is at the good level. Parking is extra pay.Upd: I think there is a logical contradiction in the feedback sorry you had a bad experience

At the beginning we were check in by a lady really nice to us, but she told us that the breakfast was from 6h30 to 11 am, and we had 2 welcome drinks. Soo we went to the bar and the lady told us that the welcome drink was until 18h… it was 22h30After a few minutes the lady from the bar accepted us to serve our drinks, was not nice at all to us, the staff from the bar was really rude we commentedAll good to that, the room was perfect like the photos, but the nightmare started at 8h30, when the cleaning lady didn’t knock in our door and just opens like nothing happen. Was a little bit disturbing but ok… we arrive to breakfast at 10h05 and the lady in the restaurant firstly didn’t speak English at all… so she calls a guy from reception to talk to us and he said that breakfast just ended which was a little bit misappropriation because he told us that if we wanted to eat “JUST EAT FAST”…It was really annoying because we just wanted a calm breakfast, and the staff was just looking at us making some pressure, not really professional at all!!Soo thats why I rate 2 starts, staff for English people really bad, rooms were goodBreakfast was ok…

Friendly staff (especially at breakfast and in the restaurant), located at a tram stop which brings you directly into the city center, very clean rooms.We ate two times at their restaurant. Prices are surprisingly cheap and the food was pretty good. Unfortunately at NYE, there was no vegetarian meal on the menu. The staff was friendly and fast. (Tbf I also didn't ask if they had any because it seem very busy and then you don't wanna make extra work to the kitchen when they are already fully booked)Every single staff member at breakfast was suuuuuper friendly and they were quick with clearing up the table. The buffet was sumptuous and if something was empty, they filled it up quickly. I also would pay more if the food from the buffet were more local (yogurt from Italy, milk from aro...)We are running a hotel on our own, so I think the only downside was the reception. When checking in the staff first finished their small talk and didn't recognize us at all, then they couldn't find us in the system although they had our passports and we booked with the hotel directly...all in all this was a bit chaotic and took way too long. (Especially when you are on the road for 10+ hours) We asked, where we can buy a 3-day tram ticket and they told us they don't sell it here but we can get one at the rail station only to find out on our last day that there is a ticket machine at the parking lot, right next to the steps down to the tram stop.If I'm thinking back, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel and if I'm in Prague anytime soon I definitely will book this hotel again.
