This place is amazing!!! I loved everything about it. I've been there for lunch, Later on I went back for dinner and the show. The show was amazing! The food is great, large portions and very delicious. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it.

This is a tourist trap, but a good one. The restaurant attempts to create a atmosphere where you can enjoy beer and rustic food. The candle-lit cellar is an interesting place to eat but I prefer the airy upper floor.The staff is friendly and entertaining. One waitress in particular was making sure that we have a good time. However, the restaurant is understaffed at peak times so that service can be slow.As for food, skip the starters, they are not worth it and don't add to the experience. Go straight to the mains. If you like a lot of meat, then you can't do anything wrong here. All of it was tasty and filling. Might come again with friends.

If this is the only place you visit during your trip to Prague, you won't be disappointed!We would highly recommend booking in advance, as it is very busy and very popular, for good reason! We booked by emailing through the website, and the response was very fast and helpful.During our visit the customer service was excellent, and very authentic to the location. We went for the all inclusive package, which was 1400czk (about £52 each) and it was amazing value as all food and drink is included.As soon as your glass was half empty, they were ready with another one on your table!It was a full three course banquet, all eaten with your hands which was unique and good fun. The food was plentiful, and we were even given seconds on the main course when we finished our first plate. The food was delicious and there were plenty of different options to choose from, all cooked to perfection! This really is the ideal venue if you are a meat lover!!The entertainment was worth the price on its own - dancing, juggling, fire breathing, sword fighting and all very funny - it really is an experience!You really do need to visit - you won't be disappointed!

An amazing experience for everyone who likes taverns or medieval events. The food is really good and more than enough. It's a bit pricey, but you get a lot for your money here, so I'd definitely recommend it. I will most likely come back someday! :D

A friend and I went to this place soon after reaching the city - despite the look, its not as much of a tourist trap as you'd think! We got the ribs and shredded honey duck to share, and both were absolutely delicious. The ribs were tender and seasoned deliciously, and came with pickled peppers. The duck was quite flavourful and came with cabbage (salty and tart!) and some dumplings (herby, soft, and soaked up all the juices from the cabbage). The portions overall are fairly generous, and the service was quick when we went on a Friday afternoon. Overall a pretty fun experience - the wait staff were in character (one of them pretended to be miffed when my friend asked for cutlery for her ribs), friendly, and English speaking. The staff also have a unique way of serving bread and giving you the receipt (see photos). Would definitely recommend for a unique meal in Prague!

This was an ideal pub for me and my friends to drink some beer and eat some great meals in medieval style. The pub hallways and candle lit rooms had set an amazing atmosphere of the medieval times. Definitely a recommended place for every tourist. The fire shows were also pretty impressive.

This was truly an amazing experience and made our trip worth while. The atmosphere was incredible as you are sat with strangers and are able to socialise and enjoy the experience with others as well as learn about them. We chose the 5 course dinner and the food was excellent with good size portions. The entertainment was amazing from a bit of comedy to fire dancing it was well worth the money and experience.

Surprisingly good! I went in fear of the tourist appeal. But the food was good and the show interesting. The ambience has a nice atmosphere. The baked cheese with caramelized onions is delicious! It's expensive for the food itself, but they have a great staff and I think it's worth the price.

They tell you nothing on the phone and want to be lazy and only use email which never works well for bookings. I would recommend the a la cart menu. The food is not all that good however the entertainment is great! The staff was also unpleasant and expected me to know the place when it's my first time being there. Horrible service!Most people haven't been to this tavern when they come. Its a tourist spot but none of these tourist places are there for customer service, only to take your money and say goodbye!

It's probably more fun if you're lucky enough to get a table in one of the larger spaces where the performances happen. Otherwise, if you're up in a little nook off to the side, you're stuck watching everything through an archway, which makes it hard to get into the spirit of things. On top of that, there is no ambiance music (or barely perceptible) between acts. So it winds up being a bit boring, especially if you're on your own.The food was good, and worth the cost of the meal. You really get a full place and the honey roasted ribs are great.Service is kind of fun. They like to insult customers, in a supposed medieval" kind of way (though I'm not convinced that servers who cared about their safety would have really talked to customers that way)."
