AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!! SCAMMERS WORKING HERE!Went to this supermarket earlier today with my mother and sister to get some basic essentials for our holiday.As I pulled my notes out of my purse, I heard a coin drop and assumed it was mine. I picked it up. It must have been the equivalent of £1. I then had a young female cashier with long brown hair come up to me shouting in Czech (she definitely could speak English but pretended she couldn't) motioning that it was hers. I gave it to her as I was confused. She continued to shout and me, and then the security guard (big burly bald man) came over and started shouting at me agressively in Czech along with her, pretending he couldn't speak English. I told them I couldn't understand what they were saying. They continued to shout at me at an attempt to confuse me. We worked out later that they were likely trying to distract and panic me in order to steal my money. Thankfully I'm not intimidated easily and told them I don't care and walked out the store. The young female glared at me from outside the store. If this had been a lonely and nervous tourist this could have ended so badly for them as they were attempting to be as intimidating as possible to cause fear, distress and embarrassment.They need to be fired, it's disgusting.DO NOT SHOP HERE IF YOU WANT A STRESS FREE HOLIDAY!Never seen anything like it in all my travels in Europe.

If you are a tourist in the old town, do come here instead of the smaller minimarkets that's all over the place in this area. Good selection and you don't get ripped off.

It was hard to find, but the shop is laying across from newyorker, its downstairs at the metro station :)

I had the pleasure of visiting Albert Market in Prague and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The market boasts an impressive selection of products at excellent prices, and I couldn't help but be captivated by the vibrant atmosphere. The variety of fresh produce and specialty items on offer is truly impressive, making it a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable shopping experience.

They have everything" you need for food. But the staff kept talking check even when they knew we were turists from abroad...."

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!Went to this supermarket this evening and we’re nearly scammed by a dark haired cashier and a big bald security guard as they accosted us about a dropped coin and continued to shout and follow us. luckily me and my family are not scared easily and did not fall for their charade and left but please be aware especially if you are a tourist as it seems you will be a target!!Disgusting behaviour!! AVOID!

Good quality food but as expensive as the US so I don’t know how a local senior citizen can afford to shop here.

This place is inside the metro station. Need to go down to metro station to find the place. Metro station entrance is near Bageteria Boulevard. Google maps directions is a bit confusing. Prices are really good for old town. I was able to find most items I need as a tourist. There is self check out option and self check out is easy to use because machines have English language support.
