I would say typical Czech lunch restaurant. Few fried dishes ready to be served and other to be done in a minute after your order. Very cheap! The classic Fried cheese and fries and Kofola was 170. Not bad for 2023. The restaurant is not well air conditioned so you will smell like a fried food for the rest of a day which is a downside of this place.

⚠️ this is an authentic Czech cuisine. You may not like it, especially if you're not Czech. It is not a fancy redo, just a meal similar to what you get in school kitchen here. For a great prize.

The money/value ratio is very good here. The food is basic but tasty and portions are large. Prices are very low for this area.

There are a lot of administrative buildings in Karlín and many restaurants adjusted their prices. Gastro Karlín offers very tasty meals for a reasonable price, some already prepared, some they make in front of you. Sometimes you might smell from the frying, still a very popular place and good choice for a quick lunch.

Very nice. Inexpensive canteen where Czech workers are dining. For 150cr you can get a decent lunch with steak. Variety is limited as it is not a restaurant.

Great prices for what you get! Several meals to choose from every day. On the 1st floor you even get free soup with the main dish! (stairs are on the left side through a door)

If you want the the 'ultimate Czech traditional meal experience'.No glamour, no candles, eat and go: cheap, usually < 100czk. I like the food, but may vary, its a traditional 'cantina'.
