Great looking pizza with a bit dull taste

We were in the mood for something hearty and decided to give Pizza Point a try. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly hostess who seated us promptly at a cozy table for four. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a simple but stylish decor that made us feel right at home.We started off with an appetizer of Polpetta Suppli and, unfortunately, it wasn't quite up to our expectations. The outside was hot and crispy, but the inside was still a little bit cold, which made us suspect that it was a frozen food that was deep fried in oil that was too hot. Nonetheless, we were determined to have a good time, so we moved on to the main courses.Our Lasagne was a bit of a disappointment, too. The bolognese sauce seemed too finely ground, and the pasta was a little too mushy for our liking. It also seemed like there weren't enough layers of pasta, cheese, and sauce, which left us feeling a little underwhelmed. My partner thought it was okay, but it wasn't really to my taste.However, the pizza is something special. It's different from what you might find at other pizza places, and it's memorable in all the right ways. The crust was thin and had a nice, bread-like texture, with a bit of moisture at the edges. The tomato sauce was sweet and even had a hint of sourness, which was a nice touch. The basil was fresh and generously portioned, which was a welcome surprise.Our Salami pizza was great, but the standout dish was the Cappriciossa with artichokes. The cheese melted perfectly during baking, and the black olives were a generous addition. The artichokes tasted great and complemented the other ingredients perfectly.Another thing that impressed us was that they serve craft beer. Although we didn't try it ourselves this time around, it's always nice to see a restaurant offering something a little different from the standard beers that you typically find. And, speaking of drinks, we ordered a half-liter of lemonade, which was just the right size and tasted great.One minor complaint that we had was that there wasn't much variety on the pasta menu, with only lasagne being offered. But, we were here for the pizza, after all! And, while we enjoyed sharing our food, we wished that the restaurant had offered us extra plates so we didn't have to get creative and use the plates under our appetizers.The service was a little slow, and the waiters and waitresses were not as attentive as we would have liked. We had to wait a long time to get our appetizers, and it took even longer for our main courses to arrive. But, the pizzas were so unique and delicious that it was arguably worth the wait. We even had to remind the waitress about the extra glasses we had ordered for our kids to share a drink, but she never returned with them.If you're in the mood for something hearty and satisfying, Pizza Point is definitely worth a visit. Just stick with the pizza, and you won't be disappointed. They accept both cash and card, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. It was a great experience, and we can't wait to go back and try more of their fantastic pizza.

When you get a craving for pizza in the Krkonoše Mountains, this is the tip for you. Without exaggeration, the best pizza within a 100 km (maybe even 100 miles) radius. The pizza is made by an Italian chef. He uses quality Italian ingredients, which he has weekly delivered to Svoboda nad Úpou. All the pizzas we had here were excellent. Moreover, at a price at which other places in the area sell their pizza parodies. The staff is friendly, the service is fast. The restaurant has a nice new interior.

From the outside the place doesn’t say much. You’d think it’s just another pizza joint but I have to say that the pizza was very delicious, the dough is thin with a nice crust to it and the tomato paste is home made. Nice place after a skiing day. Stop by and enjoy!

Hands down the best Italian restaurant in Svoboda nad Úpou!every dish is 100% Italian, they have top quality ingredients and all Italian even the water is Italian!The pizza chef is Italian and always offers fantastic dishes, every bite is a pleasure for the palate

Started a quest to find dinner in the area around 8pm and after 4 different places had decided to close their kitchens early (earlier than opening hours on google) or were only serving hotel guest, we lucked into Pizza Point.Great service and really decent pizza. Restaurant is clean, modern, comfortable and we enjoyed the visit. Highly recommend.
