A place for gulash with knedliki that I have to visit every time when I’m in Prague. Really good food. Perfect Pilsner. Nice staff. A lot of places. Always quick, good quality, reasonable prices. Highly recommended!!!

This place is a an absolute ‘gem’, easily accessible to the whole of the city as directly opposite Ándel metro station. Been visiting for several years now and only one bad experience when the management of the place changed. Back to it amazing standards of food, drink and service. English is spoken by some of the staff, but those who aren’t fluent try their best. I’m summer it has a large sheltered courtyard and a ‘conservatory’ for the winter, but if you want the feel of a traditional restaurant with real Czech people in it then sit in the main part. Clean and immaculate facilities including a subterranean bowling alley.

We really like the restaurant. The food was delicious and not overpriced. Some of the staff speak English and were very kind and forthcoming. They even packed some take away for us.

Visited twice while we were in the area! Both visits were great. Went back for a third and ran into less than friendly staff and weren’t able to stay due to group size. Weren’t open to discussing other times for a table, etc and were very short. However, the first visit was amazing. Great goulash and sausage. Super friendly waiter. The second visit was good too so I think all in all, a good place to pop in if you can! The back size near outside seating is gorgeous and nice and bright! Recommend if you get a spot over there!

I used to go to this place every week before the covid as it is located next to our office. For a lunch or a beer after work. I was however so disappointed with the service - rude, unpleasant, unhelpful, annoyed - that I decided to never visit again.Yesterday my friend invited me for a beer for the first time after covid and I was hoping something will change. To my disappointment it didn't.Food is ok, nothing special, but I would stop going to places with much better food for this kind of attitude.

Even though there are many people in the restaurant, the staff is coping with it brilliantly! The prices are much higher than anywhere in restaurants nearby, although the food tasted so good. I had chicken wings and I was amazed by their taste and the price (333 Czech crowns for a kilo - pretty much I would say), but I would take them for the second time if I had to. The only message to the restaurant would be to add some dips into this dish and not to charge extra ton of money for them, it doesn't make sense.The beer is super fresh here, it tastes great. It is however one of the most expensive in the neighborhood, which is understandable.When the beer garden (which is super cool and hidden in the inner yard) is fully occupied, there is much noise there though, be ready to speak louder.

I visited a few times, 2 stars because of the attitude of the staff, slow service and mediocre food.The waitress had the audacity to:1.Ask for tip, to which she got a polite reply of no thank you!2.Point out and remind us that a tip is expected and 50CZK is recommended!This attitude and approach is unacceptable.The bill was for few beers, the service was terrible.This place is only good for tank Plzen beer, nothing else and only if you are ready to accept the bad service and put up with the unpleasant attitude.
