Lovely meal and exceptional staff, both pilot and friendly.They have menus in Czech, German and English, so don't be put off, take a visit.

My wife and I entered the restaurant at 730pm. The place was half full, but they did not give us a table because, and I know this will be hard to believe, the waitress said we close the kitchen at 730pm". And that was after she asked if we had a reservation."

The staff was very nice. Food and atmosphere is good. We had the rumpsteak, duck liver with port sauce and steak tartar.

Really nice restaurant, food served quickly, I recommend spinach soup, knedliky with sweet cabbage are not my taste. On the downside no menu in English and parking spot is not very large.

Restaurace 'Stará Lípa'
We took a small detour to get there, as we need somewhere we could pay with credit card, and it was totally worth it. Food was delicious, service even better - even thought we asked for a dish that they didn’t currently have in the menu, they went extra length to get us what we wanted. It was totally unexpected but well appreciated. We were also served beer in a perfect Czech style.

I was here few days ago with my girlfriend. Well first of all really bad comunication no English the menu only in czech. Service wasn't the best specially to my girlfriend and me I saw the services threatening czech people in better way then me and my girlfriend. food not really as expected. I'm really sad for the moment that I spend with my girlfriend. Especially after I read the comment about this restaurant.i recommend people to go somewhere else to eat u can save money and eat better then this place and I bet u gonna get threat really good then in this restaurant.

Cozy and quite interesting decoration. The lightning set up the mood for a quite dinner. The food rather good.

Very good restaurant, non smoking, qiuck service. Very good meal for a reasonable price. When you plan to stop in Ceska Lipa town it definitely pays-off to drive few minutes out of the centre.

Defintely good place to stay in Česká lípa. I was alone and got huge apartmant with 5 beds, small kitchen a bathtub. Kitchen there might be better (I'm no expert, but al dente should be softer).
