Lovely restaurant,with one of the nicest servers we have met. Really appreciate the great food in a nice setting. Recommended if you like good food well cooked.

Came here cos of the good reviews but was disappointed with the food, had grilled chicken and it was kinda bland. Garlic potatoes were also kinda bland. Service was good though.

We walked in at 15:00 and the place was packed with locals. That's the best review you can get.We had a selection of traditional food and everything was full of flavor. We will definitely go back. And to make it even better, our bill was under 35 Euro.

We stopped here on a whim because the picture of meat skewer by the fire looked appetizing.It turned out to be an excellent idea. The service was great and the food absolutely delicious. So much so that we returned 2 days latter to try more things on the menu.The meats were juicy, the potatoes and salad perfect. Try the lamb skewer! I loved it.Definitely a place worth trying

The best pork shashlik in town for sure. Amazing sauce for meat, amazing salad. But the best of all is service! Great server with friendly attitude and wishing to help. Just great place.

Amazing food! In 3 days in Karlovy Vary we had dinner twice at this restaurant... very friendly staff, great atmosphere, middle-range prices, but a lot of great food for it!

We wanted to go to another place but they were full so we decided to go to Staroslovanska kuchyne. The food was ok, maybe little pricey for what it was. You can definitely get cheaper meals in the other restaurants in the same area. As for the looks of food, you can see it on the pictures. Otherwise they have their own beer which is 14 Degrees strong and tastes all right. When we entered the restaurant the smell of charcoal wood was very nice. What I find strange is that the restaurant has quite strong opinions on the google reviews they don’t like. Instead of taking the feedback they reply to everything which is not a 5 star review.

The food was fresh and tasteful. Definitely a good deal for Karlovy Vary. The interior design might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I liked it, kinda reminds me of the places I used to visit back in my childhood. The menu has something to offer for every taste. Highly recommend the mushroom soup, it was cooked from the scratch, and extremely flavourful. The Šašlik was juicy, and it might have been the first time that I actually liked buckwheat. The portion looked small to eyes at first, but it was very filling at the end.
