Resort Svatá Kateřina

We really enjoyed our stay, the place was lovely and serene. The staff was friendly, both Ayurvedic pavillion and wellness very nice. The last star from us is missing as the food was very much average/below average. We had an expensive dinner, but the portions were tiny and one of the dishes has unfortunately no taste at all. For the price and the omnipresent high standard we would have expected much more.

I have been visiting the St. Kateřina resort regularly since 2012 for rest and escape" from noise and stress. It is my time just for me when I am taken care of to the standard in a pleasant environment in the middle of beautiful nature. I highly recommend massages

Super place and the local water tastes good. We were there from Sunday to Tuesday so not sure how busy weekends could be with wellness, but it was excellent? Restaurant can be cold to sit in but limited choice & expensive, plus meals tend to be small but what you get is ok, Maybe if the restaurant had a slightly better priced selection for guests they would spend and enjoy more? The breakfast included is a super selection. Car parking is the other side of Pocatky but a regular shuttle service. Stonehenge" is good to see especially at night with experiences?"

I have visited resort in many occasions and in general I like concept of basic accommodation but good quality spa services, Ayurveda new center is a good addition as well. They have ridiculous prepayment process, no credit card accepted as guarantee they want physical cash transfer which is crazy in 21st century. Another thing is that their staff in spa center non stop complain about the way they are treated (all of them!!! Czech, Indian origin etc ). I can sympathize at certain level but in general I DO NOT CARE. I have paid for massage or Ayurvedic procedure, I want to relax, I do not want to listen to other people problems or help them to get better jobs. Last stay as well head chef from India was away and Indian food was really bad

Average hotel (definitely not 4 star, 3.5 at best) for a very high price. Surroundings of the hotel are however very nice, food was also good (despite rather limited options). Wellness is OK but also nothing out of the ordinary and for sure not exceptional.Much better value/experience for money can be found in the Czech Relublic.

Svata Katerina is a heavenly oasis. The beauty of the location, with its surrounding forest and the dedicated ayurveda pavillon, naturally draws the soul into stillness and peace. My ayurveda programme was a great experience, thanks to the competence of therapists and doctors and the kindness and professionalism of the staff in general.A core part of the experience was the food; especially the authentic cuisine of the main Chef Nalin, which is so delicious and healthy. Through the masterly use of spices he makes each of his dishes a real symphony of flavours. Thank you Nalin!!Special thanks also to Ivo for his guidance into the programme and his helpful kindness.

we have been there 4 days and let me share our experience+ very beautiful location surrounded by nice forest and wild life+ nice spa pavillion+ good massages (and great ayurvedic masseurs)+ friendly personal in general, with special appreciation to the restaurant team. they make a fantastic & professional job- totally overpriced for czech standards. for 1 night you spend a 15% of an average czech monthly income (propably rather 20% based on local conditions)- hotel standard is max 2 star (west europe standard), very old and very simple refurnished... the nice instagram pictures and the website rise the expectation but the REALYiTY is fare fare away of the promissed beauty- spa is ok but rather small.-receptionist are barely speaking english and let the guest do everything. max 2 star standards-parking outside is simple and unprotected. i would never leave my own car there (we had rental)-the restaurant infrastructure is very average, so the food (holes in the chairs, dirty tables etc)-from the „hotel“ you walk 4/5min through a simple dirtroad to the luxury ayurvedic pavilion (ok at good weather but i don t know how guests shall do this like at rain or winter?)recommendation: book a nice 4 star hotel outside, paying 30% of the price and book the ayurvedic trestment seperately. the pavilion is really nice for 2-3 days

This experience oversized our expectations. We knew this resort should be really good but I was great. Accomodation was in very nice room, prepared also welcome our cats, everything was clean and nice. Wellness (procedures and ayurveda) was fantastic. Restaurant all meals we had was delicious. Only staff during breakfast was very quick took off plates from us. Near forests was nice for walkings. We are sure we will come again.
