It's less of a destination in itself than an entryway into Vyserad (especially from the Vyserad Metro). Scale these outer-embankments to do some sledding, observe Medieval reenactors while they train, picnic in the meadow just through the gate or slip away using the clever tunnels just down the stairs.

Lovely place surrounded by greenery ideal for walking and being outdoors, too bad that when I went (14th August) many places indicated on the map as points of interest were closed, but definitely worth a visit

This is one of the entrances to the castle, but we approached it from the castle wall and through the tunnel from north-east from Lumírova street.This was a good route to come to the castle and by foot this was the shortest for us.
