Very quaint traditional building in the heart of the Old Town. The rooms were pretty small but it is an old building. Friendly and caring staff.. Nice breakfast.

Очень уютный и комфортный номер.Хороший дизайн.Вкусный сбалансированный завтрак.Шедевральный вид из окна!!!Приветливый и доброжелательный персонал.В такие места хочется возвращаться ..и я вернусь с друзьями в следующем году...на Brutal Assault!!!

Hotel Vacek 'pod Věží'
I can only commend the warm, welcoming and generous nature of the owners and staff at this family hotel - in particular I would like to mention Otto Vacek. The Hotel Vacek gave us an anchor and sense of location in the midst of enrolling my son at Charles University. I recommend it absolutely wholeheartedly. You will not be disappointed.

Hradek kralove is typical Czech and Vacek is right in the old town squarejust arrived again 2018 and our room is even better! love this place.. friendly Staff, nice and clean. the restaurant in fine for typical Czech foodthe breakfast is also quite good with good service from the staff again.The hotels position is probably the best in town,although you can hear the church bells if you open your windows!good restaurants and bars are right close buy catering for young and oldonly one serves Czech pilsner!! we found that strange.the history museum is a short walk as is shopping. taxis are 4€ anywhere in HK. The airport is 10 minutes by car.

Rooms are nice clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also very good. Staff was also nice and very helpful. Only drawback is that there is no effective shading on the windows, so early in the morning the sun made the room bright…

I was really disappointed the last time i came to the restaurant.I was expecting such a really good evening, since I have enjoyed other times in this place. Instead, what began with a misunderstanding during the order, turns up with the waiter behaving in an insulting way, making fun of my aspect and making unappropiate questions about my country, my friends were in shock! He was laughing at me and making a really embarrassing situation regarding an initial problem concerning i didnt have my passport to prove that accordingly to Czech Republic laws I am allowed to drink. It lead to the point he was rising his voice and being so rude we stood up and left. Leaving a complain at the hotel.The food is really good but the waiter really needs to change because this behaviour is unacceptable.

I was very satisfied. About the location, you can not do better, as the hotel is located just on the main square. The rooms were nice, there was also a small parking for 30 crowns per day. All is all, good experience, the breakfast was generous and we've really enjoyed this place for a weekend.

Friendly staff from the receptionist to the owners. Will definitely come back here when we bring my son back for final settling in at Charles Uni. Helpful staff. Great breakfast. Tasty food and super clean. Keep up the great hospitality!!

This was a short stay. Eva at the Front desk is very kind. Great breakfast, clean room with very small but comfortable bed.
