Vlčí výběh - návštěvnické centrum Srní

It is exactly what they promised. Walk through the woods, see wild wolves and go back by different way. There is a big parking place which costs 50Kč per started hour and no admission at all. Yes completely free entrance! They have also free toilets and shop with souvenirs.

Maybe it's just me but, wolves look a lot like dogs, right? Anyway, we saw some. It's a pleasant walk up a hill to a well designed elevated walkway. We took the shorter route as we were carrying a toddler so I can't comment on the whole experience. The kids play area is nice. Parking at 10am was impossible. The space available was too small for the number of visitors. By noon it was better.

Wonderful experience, seeing wolves in an - as much as possible- natural habitat. The animals seem to be content with their lives there and seem to act quite normal, although of course they are not scared of human noises anymore. The 2.5 km (uphill) walk through the forest to the enclosure is nice and relaxing, doable for all ages. All in all: very much recommended when you're in the Sumava NP.

The moment you enter this national park, the forest grabs you and captivates your eyes. The twisting roads bordered by pine trees that seem to go all the way to the horizon, will delight the soul.This particular attraction was very convenient. Parking was plentiful. 1 hour/ 50 Kc. Good bathrooms. There's a small kiddy play park with merry go round and the like. Places to eat lunch either up the path under the shade of the trees, or at the trail entrance near the play park. The vending machine is inside the visitor center, selling soda and water. The hike is extremely easy and manageable even with a 3 year old. The wolf habitat is fenced and they provide an elevated walkway to view them. The walkway also has interesting facts about wolf habitat and culture. Each segment has a wooden carved explanation of something relating to wolves. I highly recommend this place and enjoy.

Walking through the forest in the snow was a great experience. The resort is very well maintained. Watching the wolves is just fine, most interesting is the information about wolves habits.

Amaizing! One of the most interesting and beautiful places. We were lucky to see a pack of wolves. A lot of them were quite active (11.00 morning).No fee for entrance, only for parking.Kids were excited!

IT WAS AMAZING!!The nature walk to the wolf sanctuary was beautiful and just the right length. The actual walk through the wolf area was beautiful and very exciting. The wooden tree path was a great idea and looks as if it was built a week ago. There are plenty of benches and tables to eat there and on the way- its a great place to go at any time. We even saw about 8 wolves and up close. Parking cost 50kc an hour but other than that the experience is completely free and its definitely worth it. The info centre has a really interesting exhibit on wolves and other forest wildlife and there are free restrooms. Definitely worth a visit if you have an hour or two to spare

It is very nice path in the forest. We saw one wolf from 14, but it was very impresion view...
