1. On the day of the arrival they informed that the later arrival is going to cost extra money: 20-21pm 5 euro, 21-22 10 euro, after 22pm - 15 euro. There was no info like that on the page2. We were three people and we booked two rooms as we wanted to have privacy (a couple + brother) and we paid extra money only for this (we remember that we were wondering if we wanna pay extra 25 EUR for having two rooms and we decided that yes,we want). After arrival the hostel gave us one shared room despite the booking for two separate rooms.3. As the booking couldn't be organized as we requested,we asked for discount according to the price that was for this option before, so 25 EUR less but they said the price is for this and that's it. They can't change it now.4. We decided to leave the place as we felt we have been unfairy treated and we didn't want to accept dealing with customers like that so we asked them to cancel on their side in order for us not to pay 30eur for cancellation on the day of arrival as it wasn't our fault, the boy who welcomed us said that it is not possible and that it is going to be charged. We felt trapped - if we stay or if we go,we are going to pay extra money which we shouldn't. So we decided to stay and pay however tell the truth about them on the internet afterwards.5. Additionally, the price on booking is in EUR and they want to be paid in cash in Czech crowns but the exchange rate is so way higher that the current general rate.6. Additionally, place isn't even cozy, it is hot, dirty and old.Please, have in mind when booking that these people aren't trustworthy and that they do anything to earn more money.

Nice experience

Please avoid this hostel at all costs. Once you arrive at the location there is no indication that the hostel is part of the building to start with. You have to message this guy who says he’ll be five minutes but then you are outside for half an hour (after reading other reviews this started a panic), once in it looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in years and he leads you into a small room with just mattresses on the floor, after taking passport details he then says it’s cash only no way for card payment and advised us to go withdraw cash (which is fine but we explained we can’t withdraw cash with our type of cards we have for travelling) he then tried to make us put our card details into HIS phone (huge red flag) and then told us to go across the street to this shop and he’ll “negotiate” this guy getting money for us. We walked across street to leave as we rather try to find somewhere else and he then followed us over still trying to pester us to go into this shop. We did not feel safe at all. Please avoid at all costs and pay the extra money to stay somewhere safer.

Počas hľadania vchodu do hostelu (bez akéhokoľvek nadpisu či zvončeku) sme si začali čítať recenzie na googli a boli sme zhrození, chceli sme odísť. V tej chvíli vyšiel mladý muž, ktorý nás zavolal dnu a my sme čakali najhoršie (matrace na zemi, špina…). Vošli sme však do veľmi jednoducho zariadeného low-cost apartmánu, rozdeleného na niekoľko izieb so spoločnou kuchynkou a kúpelňou. Naša izba (pre 3 osoby) mala aj vlastnú kúpeľnu a toaletu, nemuseli sme teda s ostatnými zdieľať sociálne zariadenia. Mladý muž nám ozrejmil pravidlá, odfotil si ID, zaplatili sme v hotovosti (vzal aj eurá). Nič nebolo špinavé ale ani extra čisté. Obliečky nevyzerali ako čerstvo oprané, sprchový kút odtekal veľmi pomaly, na vankúši sme našli cudzie vlasy. V izbe bolo dosť vlhko ale v horúcom letnom počasí sme ocenili chlad v miestnosti, čo v zime asi nie je najpríjemnejšie. Postele boli preležané a vŕzgali no na 1 noc sa to dalo prežiť. Celkovo hodnotím hostel ako veľmi low-cost voľbu, vhodnú pre človeka, kto si nepotrpí na čerstvé postele, výhľady, vybavenú kúpeľňu. V izbe však nebol hluk ani z ulice ani od ostatných návštevníkov, nenastali žiadne komplikácie. Nikdy som však nestrávila noc v horšom, mnou platenom ubytovaní. Ak má niekto naozaj nízke nároky na ubytovanie, pár nocí sa tam dá v pohode prespať. Ja by som však známym tento hostel rozhodne neodporúčala a určite sa do ničoho podobného nechcem vrátiť.

DO NOT USE THIS ACCOMODATION, THE HOUSEKEEPER IS A LIAR AND A FRAUD. The same housekeeper takes care of ApartHostel BVV and ApartHostel Veveri on Jana Uhra street. I booked one night in each 3 days apart. These are not hostels, these are regular appartments, so you have to call the housekeeper beforehand to let you in, he arrived in about 25 minutes. It is a young gentleman (+-18yo) who is a foreigner and doesnt speak czech nor english much. The accomodation was ok-ish, I minded 3 things - it is at the ground level so people can literally stare through your windows, the room smells quite bad as if nobody ventilated it for 50 years, and the beds have trash support structure, so anyone over 80-90kg has to sleep on the floor otherwise the bed floor will break. The next day I left the keys on the table as instructed and left.But now the NIGHTMARE starts. After 2 hours the housekeeper called me that the room is locked and where did I left the keys. After I told him I left them on the table (which I am sure of because right before leaving I was deciding which table should I leave them on) he said the police will investigate and hung up (there was a security camera so he could have investigated himself that I didnt lock). He even cancelled my reservation after the fact so I couldnt write a review on booking dot com.Unfortunately the worst is yet to come, because 3 days later I had a reservation with the same houseekeper in BVV Aparthostel which had 100% cancel fee, so I had to use it. When I called the dude the evening of the next reservation, the housekeeper recognized me and said I have no reservation with him, and that I should check the YEAR of my reservation (as if I am an idiot who uses years old reservations). I even sent him a screen on whatsup, he said my reservation was cancelled and blocked both my phone number and whatsup.I spent the next 2 hours dealing with booking dot com support, they kept insisting I have to go to the hostel and the housekeeper has to accomodate me. But how when he blocked me? At 8am when I still had nowhere to sleep that night, booking admitted that even they cant reach the guy and offered me a relocation where the price difference would be payed by the hostel housekeeper. The cheapest room available was 4x as expensive (almost 4000Kc or 150euros), so i spent the night there and in about a week a received the 105 euro difference from the hostel lying dude. At least some justice happened.But again guys, dont use this accomodation, the housekeeper is a liar and only starts trouble. STAY AWAY!

The place was bare minium . Toilets had mold on the wall.Kitchen was dingy and looked unhygienic.Carpet had a huge stain on it. Will not recommend.
