I wish there was a bauhaus closer to where I live ... the reason being : the terrible prices in OBI

I ordered a piece of equipment from OBI online and came to pick it up. When I went to the information counter to ask for it, I said “good day” and announced that I came to pick up an online order and then waited for the woman, Helen, to tell me what information she needed in order to retrieve it. She stared at me for a bit and then said “what about it?” (in czech “a co?”) I repeated that I came to pick up something i ordered, and somewhat confused I asked if I came to the right counter? She said exasperatedly “yes but you have to give me your name.” And I said “Ok, but this is not the way to ask for the information you need to retrieve my order. She continued to act rudely and inappropriately. Later, I asked another sales person in the tools department where I might find nails for a nail gun. He said “I don’t know, nails are over there” and pointed indifferently somewhere to a few aisles over.I speak Czech fluently, so this was not a language issue.These were the two worst experiences I had there today, but the general feeling was of a very unsatisfying experience. There are many other such stores in Prague, I will not return here.

Ah, OBI, like walking through a maze blindfolded (if you don't speak Czech). So much stuff, so little service assistance. All the Boy Scouts will thrive on the mystery and challenge of trying to find a needle in a haystack. Ulysses never needed the wisdom of the Oracle of Delphi more than when he entered the hallowed portals of OBI! Be brave, you will survive.

First time at an OBI and it did not disappoint. It had everything i needed and i even met my english teacher there so that was pretty wild. Lowkey sucks that its in the middle of nowhere, im not even convinced people actually live in that area. 10/10

There was one member of staff there who spoke English and she was so friendly and helpful. We knew what we wanted and she helped us to have it all delivered to our home the very next day. That girl deserves a raise!

OBI is favourite shopping place when it comes to flowers, amazing selection.

It’s a good store however not the biggest one. They have most of the things you will need but the choice is small. Also, the worst thing is that you have to pay for parking and the machine accepts only cash. The staff is very helpful but they don’t speak any English.
