Such a lovely store!! It was clean, bright, well staffed with hardly any lines. Friendly and hardworking staff with excellent service. This store had everything we needed. Great looking produce, variety of health food choices and household supplies. Very affordable and conveniently located by a metro and train station. Open regularly. This place must have changed management since some of the last reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. Folks, this is a city grocery store next to a metro and train. If you are not used to all kinds of different people then the experience will be different to you. Please be kind to those less fortunate than yourself. I was never bothered by a homeless person nor offended by any smells.

Shop is really popular, not enough cashiers, therefore they are quite tired all the time. However this is one of my favourite branch. Store is organized and clean

I went here to buy ONE nectarine and ONE chocolate bar (which should have only cost 24 crown). The cashier started charging me for other items like bread and someone else’s fruit. I told her no it’s not mine and she told me I had to pay for it and kept scanning the food. I stood there arguing with her while she demanded 61crown. I was furious and told her MANY times it was not mine, but she kept screaming at me to pay 61crown. I took the bread and told her “No! Not mine” and she yelled “61 crown!” I said “Only the chocolate and Nectarine” and showed her and she said “Yes! 61crown.” I could CLEARLY see on the screen that she did not remove ANYTHING. I got so frustrated that I just walked out. I am NEVER coming back here again! This has happened here a few times at this location. They are obviously trying to scam foreigners who might be gullible enough to pay.

This ia the worst grocery shop I've ever visited. I live lie 3 minutes from the shop so everytime I need last minute stuff I should be able to buy them there. However the manager decided they will get rid off 50% of sortiment including cheese and sausages, ham, salami, etc and will substitude it with tons of beer. Cheap beer.

Personel is always in bad mood, and due to lack of training, they are not able to process queues of foreigners, as they simply start speaking czech to them, while commenting to everybody else that they hate this kind of scum. There are no informative signs about any process, which is then being pushed to customers, well with similar comments. Half of the stuff you bring home, mainly organic food is just to throw it out, as they are keeping it woth deffected food. Definitely not recommending if you have other options.

This 'supermarket' is abysmal. The staff in this store have zero customer service etiquette.When scanning items of food, they're so aggressive that you feel it's an inconvenience to them. It's not just one day every now and then, it's every single store visit.On my last visit, I added my items to the till conveyor belt and placed my basket under the counter (where they're usually kept, before a member of staff collects them and puts them at the front of the store). The member of staff scanning my items aggressively asked me to put my basket at the front of the store. Without complaint, I did so. When I got back to the checkout, a group of boys had already placed their items on the conveyor belt, without the divider, and the staff member had already scanned half of their items into mine.We all began explaining to her that she had put our shopping together, and we weren't shopping together.She began to complain and grunt to us all, as though it was our fault, when she clearly knew these customers weren't with me before. She requested what I presume to be a store manager or supervisor, to come and remove the items that weren't mine from the till.He removed items and she confirmed the price of my shopping. I prematurely paid, as I wanted to get out of there. Once the transaction was complete, I waited and asked for a receipt. She began to shout that I could not have a receipt now. I asked why, and explained that I am entitled to a receipt and she used a hand gesture to tell me to leave.This is just one example of a terrible experience I've had in this store and It's such a shame given that it's right in the centre of a selection of popular hotels, and newly built offices.The staff in this store simply do not care about their customers, and this gives the Albert Supermarket chain a really bad name.
