Camping Matyáš

This is the best campsite we have ever visited. Friendly owners, luxurious sanitary facilities. 20 minutes by train to Prague city center. We have 2,5more weeks in Czechia, I doubt we will find a better campsite.

A great place to stay. The owners are very friendly and take great care of the camping. You see the love in all the small details. They make you feel at home instantly. Also nice that they speak English and German.There is everything you need: clean facilities, a camp café/restaurant and a small kitchen" where you can cook and also sit when it rains.In the morning they have a large selection of bread and spreads for a small price.The camping is close to the train station

So friendly. We've been motorhoming for over 20 years but never been to such a wonderful campsite, and so easy to go into Prague.They have really gone the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need.I could go on, but go and find out ... a real treat awaits.

When we arrived at this site, we found out it was fully booked but the kind receptionist told us of another place 100m along the road and she even called them to warn them of our arrival. As the 2nd site was quite basic, she said we could come back to use the restaurant, buy bread and use the washing machine. She also gave us all the information we needed to travel into Prague.We did eat in the restaurant and it was fantastic. So even though we didn't stay here, I can still highly recommend it.

We had a great time at Camp Matyas! Such a lovely place, clean toilets and showers. Fun playground with fountain. Next to the river with a stunning view! And the food was sublime!!! 100% would reccomend!

Best campground!!! It’s no surprise that they won the award last year. The staff are so attentive and always making rounds cleaning and perfecting. Most of them speak great English. The showers and restrooms are the cleanest and most comfortable I’ve ever seen. The shared kitchen area is well-stocked with everything you could possibly need. There are multiple quiet places to sit and relax or read a book. My boys played football and table tennis for hours.

This campsite is simply paradise for children - indoor and outdoor playground, lots of toys, very clean and heated family bathroom, fountain for summer. We liked everything is well designed and very cosy. There is fire place, bbq, small dining room. Restaurant was closed (not full season yet).What we didn't like is laundry situation - there is only one dryer and it was constantly used by cleaning lady, we didn't see it available for 3 days... I recommend to do laundry only on sunny days.Also bicycle path to Prague is flooded now, so you'll have to take train to Branik station and cycle from there. Or 2 trains to Prague city center (not direct connection from campsite).ACSI rate 23 euro + 0.90 tax/person + child 3 euro.
