I used to like Antoninovo Pekařství in Vršovice, but the one in Karlin is just bad. Unfriendly personal, volatile quality of coffe and sometimes they sell old bread (last time I bought it at 11am and it was not crisp at all). Which is really a problem with a bread that doesnt last good more then 1 day..

This place offers very nice traditional pastries, fresh bread, and decent coffee. Everything at a reasonable price.Moreover, it's a local franchise so you can find it in many places around Prague.The place is not too much tourist oriented, so the staff may not speak (perfect) English, but they would be polite and try to be helpful nonetheless.

I had a Chai Latte here (one of the best I've had) and I tried a few different traditional items.Would definitely recommend for a coffee date, a perfect start to a day, or for a quick meal to experience some favorite baked Czech items.The best one was the walnut strudel item - it was super good value, very filling, and every bite was delicious. Reminded me of a dessert my grandmother used to make :)

If you want to experience a great bakery, here's the place. I use to go to have my lunch too (Karlin's place) and I am always satisfied. Besides, a truly lovely staff here.

Nice cafe with great service.Especially, The one who serves in the cashier machine was really kind.Even if we couldn’t communicate, she was trying to let us know.Thanks!

coffe was good, we tried three cakes they were fine, but nothing special. Place offers free water, but my glass was chipped so I almost cut my lip. The lady working behind the cash register seemed to be really annoyed while we were making an order. No thanks, no goodbye.

Nice Czech bakery. You can have a good lunch there too. Kid-friendly: some toys on the window and one little table for kids, where they can draw right on the wall!
