Visited for a lunch with family. Selection of food for everyone. Kids enjoyed pizza, polish wife smažený sýr. Pilsner Urquell on tap was crisp.

Very tasty food, especially the soups were very delicious! We sat outside, it was nice there. The waiters were kind. The best restaurant we tried in Karlovy Vary!

Highly recommend this pub .. not only has it got great food check the salmon but it’s probably the only food place in Karlovary that caters for children.. it’s got a childrens menu.. we were desperately asking random people with children where we could eat and more than two recommended this one . Fabulous service and super clean even the house wine is ok .. they have a lunch menu during the week ..

My husband and I had lunch here. He had the burger off the lunch menu (to an American it is a pulled pork sandwich sans BBQ sauce) and I had the goulash soup.Items on the daily menu were 159 CZK and if everything is portioned like the pork sandwich, it’s a good size meal.The pulled pork was served with bacon and a sunny side up fried egg on it, which my husband can’t stand so I ate the egg. It’s also served with a side of “nachos” but there was barely a drizzle of cheese and only a few slivers of pepper on them. However. Those were the best tasting corn chips I’ve had in Europe. Points for those and if they’ll sell them by the bag, I’ll be buying.My soup was soup. It’s made with ground beef and some small pieces of potato. It was ok and came with a basket of rye. It’s not a hearty goulash, but I don’t have a large appetite so it was enough. And neither of us had room for dessert.Our server was super and spoke English well. He was also friendly and good humored. Our food came out quickly and we were checked on at appropriate intervals. We had a very nice experience here and will return to try other things.*If you have kids with you, there was a salami pizza on the lunch menu and the regular menu included a large selection of pizzas

Average experience. Spicy food wasn't spicy at all. Waffle was soaked by salad, no crunch at all and promised herbs didn't quite occur to be present in my meal. Staff wasn't really rude, neither polite. Atmosphere of this place saved the day.

Amazing typical Czech food, definitely value for money, spent 4 days here coming from Brno and I ate in this place in the same quality as I would eat in a typical lunch any other day. If you are looking for eating like a local go there.
