This place is schisofrenic. The food and beer is good. Really good. The big problem is the staff. They are rude, often really agressive. The short lady with black hair is really unpleasant, she is insulting people, shouting and never smiles or greets. She often insults people who don't speak Czech. Sooner or later somebody from the staff will ruin your day. There is a zillion better pubs in Prague than this one.

Our first dining experience in Prague. Beef goulash was wonderful as were the pancakes for dessert. Friendly with every effort taken to help us. Highly recommended.

We just drunk beer and had fried cheese which was delicious.We enjoyed it.Waiters was fast and friendly.Only recommendation for menu improvement.Don't put meat options in vegetarian section!You can easily make salads without chicken or pork.

Food wasn't bad and the price was reasonable for Prague. They don't take card so make sure you have cash on you. The staff can seem unfriendly but I think they are just nervous about having to speak English so it's better to speak Czech if you can.

Typical Czech restaurant.Noon menu of our national cuisine is served 11h -15 h (cheap and down to earth food) but kitchen is open also for dinner, serving more conventional restaurant meals.Interior is not fancy, service is quick, but not very friendly, at least they usually speak German or a little bit of English.Beer is the primary beverage served.A few parking places accesible from behind the building, outdoor sitting in a garden with service possible through summer.

Meal is on average. The biggest surprise, they accept no cards, only cash. Euros ok, though the change rate is about 10% away from bank exchange rate, something like tips included.

Extremely arrogant, rude, inexplicable, unreasonable, in our case xenophobic attitude of the staff. We are people who do not speak Czech and we have not had any problems with that anywhere in the Czech Republic. We had no cash, only cards, but we went to the nearest ATM to withdraw. But the two waiters were so pathetic in their attempts to show us how they didn't want to serve us that of course we left. And we gladly found another place and left our money there, with delicious food and beer and most of all with a normal smiling attitude. And not once :) So I would like to ask the manager or the owner if this is a tricky approach to banish people and encourage the impudence of the staff. I do not recommend to anyone. Prague is full of wonderful restaurants, and in this neighborhood you can find many of them without encountering arrogance and rudeness.

Probably the best kitchen in Prague.I mind you that they don't accept cards, but there is a cash machine nearby.
