Hotel Olšanka

We booked and paid 4 nights but left after 3.Rooms are okay but very noisy. You can hear the neighbours snoring and the trains passing by.Pool and fitness are not part of the hotel but a club next to and to pricy as it is overcrowded and worn down.Breakfast we tried once and left just as hungry - really poor food not worth eating.

The rooms were quite nice, although the floor was in certain places very dusty. The bathroom was always clean and worked just fine. The windows often would not stay up themselves so it was hard to bring some air in or cool the room off and the hairdryers often has some issues. Room service was close to non existent, for example one of my friends had problems with their window not opening and the reception did basically nothing to help. Other than that, if there were any issues with the card or other services they would help. The food was passable, more specifically the buffet style breakfast and dinner were more than satiating but the quality wasnt always the best. Ones I found a piece of plastic wrapping on some cheese I took for breakfast and more than ones I found a piece of some sort of plastic wire in the bottom of a cake. The location was pretty good, it's right in front of a tram stop and there is a metro station close by. Overall this hotel is sufficient for simple accommodation needs for a cheaper price that can also offer options for fun activities like swimming and other sports, but one has to keep in mind that for this price some expectations should be set lower.

Book if budget is the only factor for you. We booked for our family of 2 + 2 children.* Parking lots - too narrow for even an average size hatch back cars, so many cars were occupying the adjacent parking lot. If you are not lucky then you need to try to squeeze in your car and there won't be much space in between to open the car door.* Air conditioner - Rooms are air conditioned, but switches off automatically every one hour(cost cutting), you get sweat out, awake and need to switch on every one hour.* Swimming pool - There is no mentioning that need to pay extra for using swimming pool(cost for other facilities are mentioned).* Breakfast - We used to be earlier to breakfast, one day went after 8 Am and there was no tables, we were waiting with our smaller children next to the table which got emptied and being cleaned, once it was cleaned another guest came faster with his plate, sit and said I was faster :-), so expect cheap silly guests.There was no fruits in the breakfast, that is ok since there was other options to fill our tummies.* Staff - I don't want to blame the staffs for being rude(we too faced when asked for tables in the crowded breakfast hall), but we feel it is because of they are under staffed and pushed to work for huge no. of guests.* Cleanliness - Rooms and other facilities we used were maintained clean.* Loudness - like many others mentioned lot of students groups stay here. In the night after 10 there was huge noise made from outside in front of the hotel and also in the above rooms.Overall if you want to sleep well and being treated well during your stay better avoid this, only if budget is your primary concern then you can choose. Even for business and staying alone I won't prefer this hotel with the 1 hour air conditioner.

It's exactly what you'd expect from a 3/4 star hotel. The rooms are nice, clean and roomy, the staff are great and the location is definitely great. Public transport, pubs and restaraunts are all in walking distance. Would definitely come back

Nice hotel, very close to the city centre. Many amenities and services offered, also sport related (25m swimming pool, for example).Breakfast and dinner with basic options, though.Clean and spacious meeting rooms for events.At the reception, very quick service, however without much emphasis and kindness.All in all, good value quality-price.

A very large, mid-range hotel. There is everything you need for relaxation, a wellness center and a swimming pool are nearby. I recommend eating at the nearby Italian restaurant Nominanza. Visit the oldest celebrity cemeteries nearby. Convenient communication, with a tram stop nearby.

Nice hotel for the price we paid. Spacious room and bathroom and also Very clean. The reception staff should spent a little more time explaining the facilities to the guests. The receptionist didn't explain anything to us, we even had to ask where the restaurant is.

Pros · The hotel's location is within walking distance of various public transportation, making it very easy to get around Prague. The luggage storage service is very helpful. The hotel provides several extra accommodation facilities but I didn't have the opportunity to test them.Cons · There is a room to store luggage pre-check-in or after check-out, however, the key is provided at the reception desk and guests are free to access other luggage without any supervision.The breakfast is varied, served in a relatively shady room, but it is far from the typical continental breakfast, for less adventurous people it can be difficult to eat, even so there is a wide and varied offer, clearly more traditional with the Czech culture.The worst part of the stay was the interaction with the staff, which although too brief, was always not very empathetic. It culminated with the fact that I left a gadget in the room, reported it immediately via booking, but they only responded the next day with a short we didn't find anything". This is clearly a hotel more for the masses because of its connection to the conference facilities adjacent to the hotel."

Pretty nice, close to public transportation. Rooms are fine, the staff tidies up rooms every 2 day. If you don't want them to get in your room just hang the red thing to your door. Breakfasts are various. Good job!

Very good separate rooms for family traveling. Good location with transportation just front of the hotel. About 15 min. to the central city. Good breakfast as buffet. We stay on this hotel second time (first was about 6 years ago) and it was also very good stay. Everyday rooms clean and fresh towels. I am very recommend this hotel, especially for family with few childrens.
