There are definitely high quality marionettes there, but some of the simpler ones are garishly overpriced. The three stars are for the puppets, NOT for being watched like I'm trying to steal something. And if you don't want customers reading the tags on the puppets, post a sign describing the background on its design so they don't have to.

The store with a motto “PLEASE DON’T TOUCH!!” - don’t know how to buy stuff if I cannot touch.. they should learn how to behave to their customers.. I unfortunately cannot give 0 stars here in google hence the 1 star.. doesn’t matter if they sell the world’s most beautiful or precious stuff..

Cool toy store, with mostly traditional wooden toys and marionettes. Nice stuff if you're interested in such toys. The middle door is separated from the rest of the store and it has a very nice selection of puzzle toys and chess sets.

Excellent shop for toys and other folk/fairy tale based souvenirs and matryoshka dolls. Located very conveniently in the heart of Prague!

Great toy store. If you are looking for good wood toys and Czech presents here is the place. 2 floors. Cozy and less crowded.

Best toy store to buy gifts for kids and your loved ones

This is a fabulous little shop with lots of high quality wooden toys and marionettes. It brought back lots of memories of when the children were growing up and there were loads of toys I would have bought for them had they still been very young. Worth a trip down memory lane. Toys varied from nursery toys to more grown up wooden puzzles and chess sets.Staff were very friendly and prices seemed reasonable.

Visited this Toy shop on day 1 of our visit to Prague. The shop sells some lovely wooden toys and my wife decided to make a purchase for the school she works in. She purchased a small Woden hedgehog pencil stand. That evening we realized that we had been charged the equivalent to £68. We initially thought this had been a mistake, and returned the next day to discover that this was the price of the hedgehog. We asked for a refund to be told they do not do refunds, the customer assistant was rude telling us that everyone has google and we should have googled the price. In short the store has lovely products but at an outrageous markup. I suspect this is not the first time a customer has returned. I would avoid the store altogether, there are other shops selling similar products. Also customer service was very poor, but I guess they are not catering for the returning customer
