The Artisan
So set aside any prejudice you might have about the location of this really good restaurant in the Marriott. The food, service and atmosphere is top notch. We had a quick lunch upon our arrival in Prague, and although we had dinner at an excellent local restaurant that night, last night we elected to have dinner at The Artisan. All of our selections exceeded our expectations- my daughter had a perfect burger, I enjoyed a really nice steak and potato after a salmon appetizer, my wife had a delightful appetizer of zander filet and cucumber followed by the duck breast. We finished with a local cherry cheesecake desert that was delicious. Wines by the glass are great choices as well. A great find.

The Artisan
I was looking for breakfast locations that were open early and found this place in the Marriott. My original plan was to order À la carte, but since they had a huge group, they were only doing the buffet. Overall, it was a slightly above average buffet at the price point (550 CZK or 25 USD). They did have an omelet and egg bar along with a good selection of the usual stuff. Would I eat the buffet again, probably not if I had to pay for it. However I still would like to give their À la carte menu a try.

Very nice hotel restaurant, excellent service. Very limited vegetarian or vegan options however, on offer is a delicious creamy Czech soup Kulajda (sweet and sour mushroom soup with dill), a selection of beer snacks (baked potatoes with cheese for example) and as main dish pasta.

Staff friendly. Cocktails ok but mojito with zero sugar and a bad Aperol Spritz (asked for half aperol half prosecco), the prosecco was not fizzy and they put very little Aperol. Do not order the rib eye (the most expensive thing on the menu), worst steak ever. We ordered a medium rare and we could barely put the knife in it but the inside was raw. Not the tender steak you would expect but was more like a steak cooked previously and just warmed before was brought to us. We have send them back and they replaced them with their taditional dish (svičková), which was good - very tender beef pieces with some sauce and dumplings (no not expect asian dumplings but some sort of bread). The beef tartare was ok, but too strong of ?egg/mustard taste. The soup was good and the cheese board as well.

The Artisan was an experience, this started with a visual experience, and then went on to stimulate all the other senses. Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Every single dish was created with perfection and the variety was one of the largest I have seen ever. This even beats some of the most luxurious restaurants I have ever eaten in.Extremely creative take on a number of dishes, this was just a lunch service...The whole experience is theatrical, and brings excitement to food. Every single mouth of food is an absolute pleasure and privilege. Beautiful. Highly recommended if you're staying in Prague, I would go as far as saying not to be missed in fact.

The Artisan
We visited The Artisan restaurant for sunday brunch. It was totally amazing. We tasted more than 15 meals in this menu. It is based on traditional czech ingredients, grown near Prague, but all the dishes are modern made. You can taste typical czech fish, soup or desserts, but on every plate you will find something unusuall and new. Eatable ash for example....combined with potatoes absolutelly delicious. Thanks for this experience.

In a town full of great restaurants why bother eating at the hotel? Completely worth it; had breakfast and lunch a couple of times and it was delightful with very friendly customer service. Lots of menu options and well thought out selections. Interior is well appointed and comfortable. It also has an open kitchen, which I like.
