Good Czech beer, but incompetent service. quality of food weaker than average does not match the price

We ordered the trout and breaded schnitzel, and a few side dishes, which were good value for money. The communication with the staff could be better. Since we don't speak Czech, and the staff didn't speak much English, we settled for German. Unfortunately, our waitress' German left much to be desired. My wife indicated that she didn't have a huge appetite, thus hoping she wouldn't get a large trout. The restaurant charges a surplus for every 10 gram over the standard 200 gram. Let's just say she got a big fish, we discovered how much it was over in terms of weight upon seeing the bill. One: it's a waste of food which is a pity, two: if this was the smallest fish (which I doubt) the staff could've let us know. Upon settling the bill, the waitress asked (a bit too eager IMHO)if we wanted to pay in euro. If you can avoid in it the Czech Republic you should, exchange rates at restaurants aren't usually in the favour of the client.

Had the best cup of coffee in Czechia here. The waitress was also super friendly and helped us a lot in an area where noone speaks English.

One of the best place to stop for food in the area. The meals are tasty and good price. They even have some lunch menu with soup and ice-cream for 160 aprox. The wooden interior and beautiful views makes it a very cozy place.

Cozy restaurant with very good czech cuisine and good service.Often fully occupied during noon time.A beer garden with typical czech sausage and beer is available as well.Small playground for kids.

Typical mountain restaurant with local Czech kitchen.The food is good and the portions not too big, which we don't mind.The staff was friendly and correct. The place was full but everything was served fast.The view to the back is beautiful.A welcome place after a nice walk between the rocks.

This is really a good place to stay after wandering in the mountains and forest. The restaurant is nice: it has several rooms both inside and outside. Some of the tables have an incredible view over the valley. The waiter was polite and friendly while the waitress was not but it did not spoil the impression. The place is friendly for children.

The food is ok, nothing special. Unfortunately, the salad served on the plate was not clean (there was soil on it... ) The building and atmosphere is cool - it's a nice place to stay after a hike. However, the staff is unfriendly, the service is not the best.

Two stars only for the location and interior. Service is bad and food don't even think of it if you like yourself. And if you are really hungry, get a soup, that was ok. The dishes we had seemed to contain old or close to expired meat.. Just have a beer and continue your trip feeling good instead of feeling sick.

Czech cuisine restaurant in hunters hut style. We had good lunch here - quick service (but probably not many people when we arrived), everything as expected.
