Very good cd store with large assortment. We got good advice and were allowed to listen to the cd:s before buying. Very genuine and a truly great experience. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to buy music in Prague.

A very pleasant record store with professional service. Perfect for music lovers like me, who consistently consider CDs as a very good format - at least for classical and jazz.

It's aight but they could improve on their variety of music genres

Small but an enormous collection of Czech music, classical and Jazz. If it is not displayed, it is available in the back or on request. They have a webstore cdmusic.cz and they ship worldwide but when there is a new CD out, I make a list and mail it, they put them aside and when I am in Prague, I collect my order. Also some DVD's. If there is something you want and can't find it, they will.

It is great that in the area occupied mostly by tourists one can also find ordinary shops, which were once much more frequented everywhere. The music shop in the Trčkovský Palace complex is a brilliant example. The construction itself is also very impressive. The extensive four-winged one-storey house with dormer built around the trapezoid courtyard was built between 1622-25 and then modified in the years 1660-63. Fragments of the Gothic wall wall are preserved in the building. The house is situated at the mouth of Loretánská Street and Úvoz at the same time as the lower side of the Pohořelec. It is a beautiful burgher house preserving it´s original Renaissance disposition.Je skvělé, že v prostoru okupovaném převážně turisty člověk najde i běžné krámky, kterých bylo kdysi daleko víc. Hudební prodejna v komplexu Trčkovského paláce je zářným příkladem. Už samotná stavba je velice působivá. Rozsáhlý čtyřkřídlý jednopatrový dům s vikýři vystavěný okolo lichoběžníkového dvora byl postavený v letech 1622-25 a upravený poté v letech 1660-63. V objektu jsou dochovány fragmenty gotické hradební zdi. Dum najdete při ústí Loretánské ulice a Úvozu tvoří zároveň spodní stranu Pohořelce. Jde o krásný měšťanský dům, dochovávající v podstatě svoji původní renesanční dispozici.

The shop is very small, but do not be fooled. I think they have most Czech produced classical music in stock or can get it very fast. I am impressed by Pavel's ability to find what I was asking for, in all the boxes in the back of the store. Do not miss this if you are looking for Czech music or DVD's with Czech operas. Pavel is very friendly, helpful and knows his music and cd's. I can very highly recommend this shop. Thank you, Pavel.
